Project is intended for students of the secondary schools, professional schools and higher education establishments.
Project “History and culture of Kazakhstan” includes two courses:
1. “Pages of the history”.
2. “Culture of Kazakhstan in the context of the civilizations of East and West”.
Directions of the project:
– history, customs and traditions of the people of Kazakhstan;
– significant sites of the material and spiritual culture of Kazakhstan;
– world civilizations;
– history of the museum exhibits.
Thematic of the lectures and museum measures, holding in the frames of the project “History and culture of Kazakhstan”:

1. Wise words and their role in the formation of the personality.
2. Forerunners of the independence.
3. Historical significant sites of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. Looking at the past, making the future (About historical novels from the library of Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

7. Collection of the silent weapon of Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
II. “Culture of Kazakhstan in the context of East and West”:
1. Culture and civilization.

4. Arabic - Muslim civilization.

16.10.2009. Lecture «Islam in Kazakhstan: past, present and future». Lecture for students of social sciences faculty of ЕNU under the name of L.N.Gumilev, was held by the main scientific employee of MFP RК candidate of pedagogical sciences E.A. Schelokova.

On the 6th of November, 2009 within the limits of the republican seminar «New views of education organizations’ heads competence development» was held master class «Қазақстанның тарихи-мәдени ескерткіштерін сақтаудағы ҚР Президенті Н.Ә.Назарбаевтың ролі» with the participation of representatives of Astana Education Management, Institutes of improvement of professional skill and retraining of pedagogical skilled workers of education system from all regions of the republic, Astana and Almaty, heads of schools, teachers of history, councillors of teachers at MFP RК, pupils of Astana physical- mathematical lyceum № 60.
The Master class was organised in the limits of «Agreement of cooperation between MFP RК and Astana IIPS». The seminar has united workers of education system and culture: and it is not casual, by definition of the Head of our state, «at the given stage of realisation of the Government program «Cultural heritage» cultural-educational institution should use the best efforts, that the historical and cultural heritage has entered into sphere of public knowledge and the mass information and became an element of a daily outlook of Kazakh people».
The head of the state considers: «It is important, that the new and systematised knowledge has been included in a scientific and pedagogical turn, has entered into textbooks and curriculums for the higher and high school».
The centre of museum Pedagogics of MFP RК in work with teachers of history, using rich video and photographic materials, exhibits from Funds, shows N.A.Nazarbayev's role in working out and realization of the program "Cultural heritage".
During the master class took place the exchange of opinions on actual questions of working out and realization of the State program "Cultural heritage". Working installation has been set by Kaipova B.M., the deputy director of MFP RК, candidate of historical sciences. In the speech of welcome she has noticed that the State program "Cultural heritage" was a powerful push for science and culture development. Kazbekova R. U., head of CMP made a speech with the report “State program “Cultural heritage”: achievements and development prospects”, defining methodical principles of studying of rich heritage of the people of Kazakhstan.
It was noticed that the program embodiment was created complete system of studying of the national cultural heritage. The words of the member of Social council of the Program «Мәдени мұра» academician Baipakov K.M became the acknowledgement: "State program "Cultural heritage" of Kazakhstan was initiated by our President. The program allowed to concentrate attention to the basic questions of our cultural heritage, studying of history and that considerable contribution which was introduced by our country in the world civilization treasury».(Astana, 13.06.08. In the practical part of the forum the teacher of history of physical and mathematical lyceum № 60 A.S.Hamitova has imparted experience studying of the historical and cultural heritage through design technology. Her pupils have shown fine skills of possession of oratorical speech, brilliant knowledge of monuments of culture, abilities correctly to construct protection of projects and, defending their points of view, to listen to opinion of others. For participants of the master class they have prepared materials about Tamgaly, mausoleums of Hodzha Ahmet Jassavi and Batygai. Sincerely, childly hotly, with the big respect they spoke about a role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in revival of the historical and cultural heritage. They expressed their wishes in essay which gave to the Museum.
Altynshash Satkenovna has imparted experience teamwork with the Museum at the analysis of the lesson, «acting in the Museum before a tribune, participating in dialogues, pupils open their latent talents. My task is to train pupils independently to open a well of human wisdom. The Museum help in it very much, through the Museum the child forms the personal relation to historic facts, abilities to connect the past with present and future».
The participants of the seminar had an appreciation to the substantial party of the event on which were shown forms of ordering of knowledge on a historical and cultural heritage and a way of their inclusion to a scientific and pedagogical turn of school. The councillors of teachers at the Museum of the First President, representatives of education organization of capital in the performances noted system work of the Museum on propagation of achievements of the State program "Cultural heritage".
Acquirement with the cultural heritage is a basis of the historical memory of the people, without it there is no true patriotism. Overcoming of this inertia of historical unconsciousness is especially important for rising generation education.
Summarising master class work, director of Astana IIPS Kurmanbaeva M. Zh., candidate of historical sciences expressed gratitude to employees of the Museum for the organisation of the master class and the given possibility to familiarise with archival materials and exhibits from funds, noted erudition of lyceum students, innovation of the teacher and underlined: «We became participants of brilliant protection of projects of our pupils. Really, the program became national. Nowadays master class is confirmation to it».
On September 25, 2009 was held a meeting of Debate Club «Еркін пікір» on the theme «Тарихи – мәдени мұралар және оларды сақтап қалу мәселелері». The meeting was organized jointly with the youth wing "Zhas Otan" and NDP “Nur Otan".
The event was attended by the administration and party activists of NDP "Nur Otan", YW “Zhas Otan”, the staff of K. A. Akishev Research Institute of Archeology of ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, Astana Genplan, Department of the land relations of Astana, “Astana GorNPTszem”, representatives of school local history museums, student (ENU named after L.N.Gumilyov) and school youth (secondary school № 40, Lyceum № 60).

v The activists of the club discussed a wide range of issues on the preservation of historical and cultural monuments on the territory of Astana and Akmola region. There were representatives of Astana Office of Land Relations and told the participants about the steps taken to preserve cultural monuments.
The students expressed their position on this issue in the debate. The presentation of A. Kadyrbaeva a pupil of Astana Lyceum № 60 was prepared on the basis of the historic monument Batygay, and it again demonstrated the condition of historical and cultural monuments.
On March 18th, 2009for schoolchildren in grades 5-7 school-lyceum № 60 was held a museum lesson «Historical and cultural monuments of Akmola region» in nonconventional form «Meetings of the Academic Council».
There were some guests: Chief Scientific Secretary MFP RK, candidate of historical science Karagizova G.B., senior researcher of L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University Saken S.K., a member of the Council of the Museum teachers, teacher of the history of school gymnasium № 31 Gorlova T.V., etc. Self-studies of the schoolchildren were devoted to the study, charge and use of historical and cultural monuments in Akmola region.
With the proclamation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan there was launched a large-scale program to study the monuments of ancient history and culture. In their works the schoolchildren said that at the origins of this idea is the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbaev. In his works the public and political revival of the country is directly linked to the pages of the distant history, with the tasks of building a national identity.
Among many public affairs, the President does not forget about such aspect as ancient history of Astana and Central Kazakhstan. In the construction of the new capital the Head of the State adheres to the principle that its districts, streets and important buildings were linked to the ancient history of Eurasia, and have sonorous, landmark names.
During the non-traditional lessons, schoolchildren defend their projects in the team, with the ability to justify the choice of topics and to respond quickly to questions of opponents, to show a high level of academic knowledge and awareness of involved issues. All the teams coped with the task brilliantly. The members of «Academic Board» and participants were unanimous in agreement: the diploma of I degree was awarded to the authors of the project «Mausoleum Batygai», a diploma of II degree - «Gorodishche Bozok», Diploma III degree - «Accommodation Karaotkel».
The schoolchildren expressed in the essay their attitude towards lesson at the Museum of the First President. The peculiar «Tree of Life» with children's wishes was left to remember the lesson in the museum. No one was indifferent in the room. For example, one green leaf told us: «Astana – is not just the newest history of the republic. It is a history of going down the Eurasian State to the world community. I got a lot of new information. Thank you. Elena Petkova, 6b class».
In his speech the scientist-archaeologist, a follower of Academician Kemal Akishevich Akishev S.K. Saken noted the projects of schoolchildren like a good application for future scientific discoveries in archaeology, explained what problems are still science to decide to implement II phase of the State program «Cultural Heritage» initiated by the Head of the State.
On March 27, 2009 in S. Seifullin Kazakh agricultural University for the students of economic and technological faculties was organized a lecture «Young people and non-traditional religious organizations» by the Museum of the First President.
A lecturer, Senior Research Fellow of the Museum, Ph.D. Political Science E.A. Schelokova elaborated on issues related to religious movements and sects. Today it is an actual topical issue of the impact of various religious sects in the social - political life in many countries around the world. One of the major problems affecting the national security of any state is a question of youth involvement in various kinds of religious sects. In Kazakhstan, due to wise and far-sighted policy of the Head of the State in the field of interreligious and interfaith relations and tolerance of all Kazakhstan people the danger of the influence of religious sects and movements is reduced to a minimum, in spite of all the ethnic and sectarian diversity in our country.
The theme of the lecture sparked great interest from the student audience. At the end of the lesson students asked many questions and actively discussed this issue.
During the lectures to the students of educational program were demonstrated film documents of this issue.
On the 3 of April, 2009 the Chief research officer of the Sciences Research Center of the Museum, professor and doctor of historical sciences Abzhanov H. M. conducted the lecture «The state program “Cultural heritage” and President» for the students of Eurasian National University under the name of L. N. Gumilev and Polytechnic college.
H. M. Abzhanov acquainted the listeners with the results of I stage of the state program «Cultural heritage», realization of which became possible due to support of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev.
The materials from the funds of the Museum were presented during the lecture.
On April 15, 2009 was conducted the lecture «Historical monuments of the Republic of Kazakhstan» for the students of Economic and Finances College, Technical economic college and Polytechnic College.
The students unanimously supported the idea that monuments of the history and culture are “witnesses” of our past, which reflect the history of the people, expose their spiritual wealth. The maintenance of the historical and cultural monuments is regulated by the laws: «About the protection and use of history and culture heritage» (1992) and «About the culture» (2006).
In the main part of lecture the lecturer and the Head of the Research center of the Museum Mussina N. K. acquainted in detail the audience with the magnificent masterpieces of archaeology, history and culture of Kazakhstan.
The monuments of history of our country have the important historical and cultural meaning and are character element for genetic memory of people.
During the lecture were used the materials from the funds of the Museum.
On April 24, 2009 was held a lecture «Kazakh ornament in the architectural ensemble of the President’s Residences of the Republic of Kazakhstan» for students of Astana Humanitarian and technical, Contemporary humanitarian colleges and JSC «Akmola University of Technology and Business».
The lecturer, Ph.D. in philology, the head of the Information centre J.C. Isayeva analyzed in detail and systematized materials about Kazakh ornament detection technique of ornamental complexes. There were particularly marked uses of Kazakh ornament in the architectural ensemble of the first Presidential Residence in the new capital of Kazakhstan, and now - in the Museum of the First President.
The building is without exaggeration can be attributed to the architectural sights of the new capital of Kazakhstan - Astana. At the lecture to the students of educational program were submitted photo and video archives of the museum funds.
