Nowadays the collection of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation has 37 733 units of storage. It is divided to the following collections:

1. Collection of awards;

2. Goods made of precious metals and precious stones;

3. Weapon and military equipment;

4. Numismatics;

5. Souvenir goods;

6. Dishes;

7. Carpets and felt goods;

8. Clothes;

9. Soft stock;

10. Goods of fine arts;

11. Goods of material culture.

The collections of gifts are the evidence of the recognition of Kazakhstan by the world powers, the respect to the President of the country and his services on the way of formation and development of the sovereign state. The particular interest represents the fund of the awards. There are presented the highest state awards of Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Vatican, Arab Republic of Egypt, Italy, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Latvia, Lithuania, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Turkey, France, Finland, Croatia, South Korea, Japan and other states. 

In the funds of electronic archive are kept the electronic copies of traditional, photo, video and audio-documents, reflecting the official and working activity of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, and the documents coming as a result of collecting work of the Museum. 

Book fund of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation has the scientific and scientific-popular editions of native and foreign authors about new history of Kazakhstan, institute of presidency and role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in making and development of independent Kazakhstan. The fund is increased with the books received as a gift, brochures, periodical editions, coming during collecting, research, exhibition activities, gratuitous delivery of organizations, and purchase in bookshops according to the profile of the Museum and estimation of their scientific, historical, art and exposition value.
