Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the national pavilion of Finland together with the President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö. During visit the presidents of two countries got acquainted with the expositions of the national pavilion of Finland and examined the exhibition hall of Kazakhstan located in Nur Alem complex.

The Heads of states also held bilaterals on the platform of the Congress centre of the exhibition complex.

The president of Kazakhstan thanked S. Niinistö for the personal visit and participation in opening of the pavilion of Finland, and noted the high level of the developed relations between two countries.

- “It is possible to call our relations exemplary. We repeatedly meet on various world platforms. Finland supported us in the choice of venue "EXPO-2017", and also in admission the status of the non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. Kazakhstan also always supports Finland on the international scene”, - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The head of state emphasized importance of development of bilateral ties, and expressed interest in strengthening of the relations in such spheres as the industry, pharmaceutics, information technologies, education and medicine.

In turn, the President of Finland thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the meeting and noted a role of Kazakhstan in the solution of topical global and regional issues.

N. Nazarbayev met the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili who arrived to Kazakhstan with the official visit. The head of state greeted the President of Georgia, and noted that his visit took place against the background of significant events – the 25^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries and the start of the World’s Fair "EXPO-2017".

- “We are grateful for your visit and participation of Georgia at the exhibition. Our relations always were good, our countries in the first years of independence gave each other full assistance, and Kazakhstan is one of the main investors of your economy. I don't see any obstacles for further improvement of the bilateral relations, and your arrival is very important in this plan”, - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The president of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev met the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. During the conversation Nursultan Nazarbayev and Rustam Minnikhanov discussed the questions of cultural and economic cooperation between Astana and Kazan.

The head of state congratulated R. Minnikhanov with the Russia Day, and noted the developed friendship between two republics.

- “We have warm relations both with Russia and Tatarstan. The Kazakhs and the Tatars have close history, culture, language and customs. We have good economic contacts. We conduct work with KAMAZ enterprise, and realize the projects of the helicopter plant in Almaty. It is necessary to develop these and other economic relations, including in petrochemistry”, - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In turn, the President of Tatarstan told about the mission in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also shared impressions after visiting of new architectural objects of the capital and “Astana EXPO-2017” exhibition complex.

At the end of the meeting R. Minnikhanov awarded the President of Kazakhstan “Order of Merits of the Republic of Tatarstan” and invited the Head of state to visit Tatarstan.

N. Nazarbayev met the King of Spain Felipe VI. The head of state greeted the King of Spain Felipe VI who arrived to Kazakhstan with the first official visit.

- “Spain is very close to our country since the first Independence Day. We are proud of the kind relations with Spain, the state with great history and culture. The King Juan Carlos I made foundation for this cooperation”, - said the President of Kazakhstan.

N. Nazarbayev expressed gratitude to the King of Spain for full support of Kazakhstan in the first years of independence, and also for assistance on the international scene.

- “You supported us in presidency in OSCE, and also in election as the non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. We are ready to continue further our cooperation”, - said the Head of state.

The president of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev met the President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman. The head of state in his speech thanked the President of the Czech Republic for participation in the opening ceremony of the World’s Fair "EXPO-2017".

- “I remember your visit to Kazakhstan in 2014. Since that time there were made many works between our countries, positive dynamics of development of the bilateral relations both in the political and in the economic spheres is observed”, - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The president of Kazakhstan separately emphasized that M. Zeman as the statesman always had his own opinion in various questions of the international and regional agendas.

The president of the Czech Republic noted that with him arrived the representative group of businessmen who were interested in development of economic relations, investment into various branches of economy of Kazakhstan.

09.06.2017. “Astana EXPO-2017” exhibition complex.

Head of state took part in the opening ceremony of the World’s Fair "EXPO-2017". He congratulated everybody with opening of the World’s Fair "EXPO-2017" in Astana.

The president of Kazakhstan noted that Kazakhstan was the first of the CIS countries and Eastern Europe holding World’s Fair EXPO with participation of 115 states and 22 international organizations.

- “I want to express my gratitude to all countries for participation. The exhibition of such scale is not only efforts of one state, it is work of the international community representing their achievements. The World’s Fair EXPO in Astana is a new top in advance of our country and the national Kazakhstan brand in global space. Declaring "Future Energy" subject we expect to appear in the core of scientific progress”, - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The head of state emphasized that for one and a half centuries from the moment of the first World’s Fair in London the humanity had endured grandiose technological changes, and today it was on the threshold of new discoveries in the sphere of effective and safe energy. The president of Kazakhstan expressed confidence that the World’s Fair EXPO-2017 would make the unique contribution to this global process.

In conclusion the Head of state expressed gratitude to all participants of process of the preparation "EXPO-2017", and also thanked all citizens of Kazakhstan for sincere support and assistance in realization of the exhibition’s idea.

The head of state met the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov. Nursultan Nazarbayev greeted G. Berdimuhamedov and thanked him for participation in opening of World’s Fair "EXPO-2017" in Astana.

- “The meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization came to the end. The result is admission of two new states – India and Pakistan to SCO. Today SCO is 4 nuclear powers, a half of humanity and about 30% of world economy”, - said the Head of state.

In turn, the President of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to Nursultan Nazarbayev for the invitation to visit Kazakhstan, and noted high relevance of holding World’s Fair "EXPO-2017". At the end of the meeting G. Berdymukhamedov invited the Head of state to visit the V Asian games in September, 2017 in Ashkhabad.

The head of state met the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Turkey Tugrul Turkeş. During the meeting the President of Kazakhstan noted that Turkey was one of close and fraternal countries for our republic.

- The Head of state said that the relationship between two countries growth and develop in all directions during 25 years from the moment of gaining independence by Kazakhstan.

The president of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev participated in the ceremony of taking of letters of credence. During the ceremony the President of Kazakhstan was handed the letters of credence from the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of: the Republic of Korea – Kim Dae-Sik, the Republic of Serbia – Vladan Matic, the Republic of Indonesia – Rakhmat Pramono, Romania – Cezar Manole Armeanu.

The head of state congratulated the participants of the ceremony with the start of diplomatic work in Kazakhstan and expressed confidence that their activity would be directed to strengthening of interstate cooperation. N. Nazarbayev noted that the start of their diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan was the part of the beginning of a new historical stage of the country’s development.

- “We celebrated the 25^th anniversary of independence and Kazakhstan has started the process of the third modernization. Besides, the country implements the program of industrialization. We have started spiritual modernization with the purpose of education of competitive youth. The goal of these measures is to be among 30 developed countries of the world”, - said the Head of state.

The president of Kazakhstan paid attention to foreign policy results of the state’s activity, and noted the initiatives of Kazakhstan for preservation of stability and security in the region, and also measures for ensuring further development and mutual cooperation.

The president of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The heads of states conducted the negotiations in narrow circle after the official ceremony of the meeting in the residence "Zagulba". There were discussed the state and the prospects of development of political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, and also topical issues of the international and regional agenda. N. Nazarbayev noted traditionally friendly character of the bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan caused by old historical and cultural relations.

In turn, I. Aliyev noted importance of the visit of the President of Kazakhstan in the context of further deepening and expansion of cooperation.

The head of state participated in the informal meeting of the heads of member states of the CSTO. The president of Armenia - Serzh Sargsyan, Belorussia - Alexander Lukashenko, Kyrgyzstan - Almazbek Atambayev, Russia - Vladimir Putin, Tajikistan - Emomali Rahmon, and also the acting as the secretary general of the CSTO Valery Semirikov participated in the meeting.

During the informal meeting the heads of member states of the CSTO discussed the questions of further development of the organization, and also deepening of cooperation in the sphere of security.

N. Nazarbayev noted that this year was anniversary for the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. In this regard the President of Kazakhstan, congratulated the participants of the meeting with the 25^th anniversary from the date of signing of the Treaty. He highlighted its importance in ensuring national and regional security, and also in strengthening of integrity of the member states.

Also the Head of state focused attention to the questions of expansion of interaction zone of the CSTO with other international institutes and organizations in the sphere of security.

The head of state N. Nazarbayev met the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived to Kazakhstan with the state visit.

N. Nazarbayev congratulated the head of Turkmenistan with the victory at last presidential election. The president of Kazakhstan noted full support of mutual initiatives by two countries.

Nursultan Nazarbayev said in conclusion: “One of large joint projects which implementation has become possible thanks to our friendship is construction of the railway from Kazakhstan to Iran through Turkmenistan along a route of the Silk Road. In detail this question will be discussed on May 15 in Beijing at the large forum "One Belt and One Road". This project is considered as the major route, and our task consists in substantial filling of this treaty”.

The leaders of two states hoped that this visit would give a new impulse to Kazakhstan-Turkmen cooperation in a wide range of the directions.

The president N. Nazarbayev visited a gala concert of the Presidential orchestra of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the special public authority.

The head of state congratulated all employees and veterans of the State Security Service of RK with the 25^th anniversary and noted the high level of professionalism of the Presidential orchestra.

N. Nazarbayev noted that the State Security Service is the highly professional public authority ensuring security of the President of Kazakhstan, other highest officials of the country, heads of foreign delegations and objects of the state importance at the highest level.

The State Security Service was founded by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of April 21, 2014 as a result of amalgamation of Security service of the President and the Republican guard. This public authority passed the most important stages of formation and strengthening from the moment of gaining Independence by Kazakhstan.

The repertoire of the anniversary concert program included the theme of gaining independence and high achievements of the country.

The presidential orchestra of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides a musical part of protocolar, diplomatic, governmental and other festive events of Kazakhstan. It is a creative group including all genres of world musical culture, from folklore to classical, academic music and music of modern composers.

The Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova visited the exhibition "Al Faisal: The witness and the martyr", dedicated to life and activity of the King of Saudi Arabia Faisal ibn Abdel-Aziz Al Saud.

The King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic studies was the organizer of the exhibition. It was founded in 1983 for the purpose of studying of the place and role of Islam in world history, advances of Islamic values, Muslim culture and art. It is one of the leading scientific, cultural and educational centres of this country.

The president of Kazakhstan made a speech in the Parliament of Japan. The head of state thanked for the opportunity to speech in the Parliament of Japan.

Nursultan Nazarbayev told: The legislative assembly of your country has deep historical traditions of democracy and makes a key contribution to successful democratic development of the country. Today Japan takes the leading positions, it is the third economy in the world.

The president of Kazakhstan emphasized that successful development was promoted by diligence of the Japanese people and their aspiration to improvement.

The Head of state told: The Japanese philosophy «kaidzen» allowed not only to achieve administrative and technological heights, but also strongly entered a moneybox of universal values. I can note that the views of the Japanese people are close and conformable to outlook of Kazakhs. We are united by a community of difficult, sometimes tragic destinies of our people. Kazakhstan and Japan were influenced by destructive power of weapons of mass destruction.

The President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev visited Peace Memorial Park. During visit the Head of state participated in the ceremony of the wreath laying to Kenotaf of memory of atomic bombing victims in Hiroshima in 1945. Also the President of Kazakhstan looked through the expositions in the Peace Memorial Museum.

The president of Kazakhstan had negotiations with the President of the Republic of Korea Park Geun-hye in expanded structure. Leaders of two states discussed a wide range of questions of bilateral interaction, including trade-economic, financial-investment, transport-communication, scientific-technical cooperation.

The parties also exchanged opinions on urgent aspects of the international and regional agenda, including concerning nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, ensuring global safety from cybercrime threat.

President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev met with the Prime minister of the Republic of Serbia Alexander Vuchich. There were discussed the questions of implementation of the agreements had reached between two countries during the official visit of the Head of state to Serbia in August of the current year.

The president of Kazakhstan noted that Serbia was for our republic an important business partner in Europe, having pointed to the available potential of development of the economic relations.

The head of state hoped that successful negotiation of the Serbian side with the government of Kazakhstan, and also participation in the forthcoming business forum would make a contribution to strengthening of the bilateral relations.

Also the Head of state invited the Serbian companies to take part in implementation of  «Nurly zhol» infrastructure program.

Breyak, the chief executive officer of Royal Dutch Shell B. van Berden and the executive director of exploration and production of Eni A. Vella. There were discussed the aspects of development of partnership in oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan. The head of state emphasized the importance of joint efforts in addressing issues, including ecological.

In turn, the heads of Exxon Mobil, Total E&P, Royal Dutch Shell and Eni companies expressed gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for that favorable investment climate in the republic. They handed over a symbolical flask with oil, and also the certificate of 25 thousand Dutch tulip bulbs in honor of anniversary of Independence of the country.

The President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev met with the Prime minister of the State of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu who had arrived to Kazakhstan with the official visit. In a narrow circle there were discussed the key directions of Kazakhstan-Israeli partnership and considered the main questions of cooperation in trade-economic, investment spheres, and also in the sphere of innovative technologies.

Also the President of Kazakhstan, having emphasized interest of Kazakhstan in further development of business connections with Israel, hoped that visit would give an additional impulse to expansion of the bilateral relations.

In turn, the Prime minister of the State of Israel noted that visit of Kazakhstan in the run-up to the anniversary of Independence of the country was a great honor to him.

In the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the ceremony of giving to the funds of the Museum the objects from the Cynological Centre of Committee of state revenues of the Ministry of Finance of RK.

This initiative was announced by the Cynological Centre for the purpose of promoting of achievements of independent Kazakhstan in the field of ensuring national security.

The purpose of this action is to make at citizens of Kazakhstan and guests of the capital visiting the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, interest and idea of history of creation and development of Cynological service as part of the system ensuring safety of the country. It is symbolical that ceremony took place around the 25^th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan and the 15^th anniversary the Cynological Centre.
