Domelike hall. «New Kazakhstan in the new world»

 

      Dome hall – is one of the largest and beautiful hall of the Residences. The height of the dome is 14,5 meters.

In this hall on December 10, 1997, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced that a new capital city of our state would be Akmola. On December 12, 1997 in Dome Hall was the first meeting of heads of the states of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the new capital. On June 9, 1998 was a summit of Turkic states. On October 6, 1999 – was meeting of Council of Heads of Government, where was discussed the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Community.

      Nowadays there is the exhibition «New Kazakhstan in the new world», introduces with the main priorities of political, economic and social reforms, formation of intellectual nation, modernization of the foreign policy and strengthening regional and global security of the republic.
