On November 18, 2014 on the eve of the Day of the First President of RK the Museum of the First President of RK hold the exit excursion of the scientific-expositional project «Historical Choice» for candidates for a master's and doctorate’s degree, professors and teachers of the National Defense University.
The format of the exit excursion allowed the participants examining the whole complex of unique materials, among which: rare video chronicles, photo and archival documents, opening a historical way which was passed by N. A. Nazarbayev from the Komsomol member and metallurgist to the Chairman of the Council of ministers of KazSSR, the First Secretary of Central committee of communist party of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Supreme Council and the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation. The listeners had an opportunity to look through pages of the documents of the 60-70th of the 20th century, study the newspaper articles published in the republican press of the Kazakh SSR.
The excursionists were interested in the exhibits from the funds of the Museum of the First President of RK – suit, shoulder boards and chevrons of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed forces of RK, military uniform of the Republican guards «Ulan», sea cutlass, Arabic daggers, duel pistols, etc.
On November 25, 2014 was signed the Memorandum of cooperation between the National defense university named after the First President of the Republic of Kazahstan - the Leader of the Nation and the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The memorandum aimed at cooperation in conducting of joint research, scientific-exposition, excursion, educational and other actions in the limits of the study of the history of formation and development of the independent Kazakhstan.
According to the Memorandum will be held scientific research and educational activities; publication of articles and materials in periodicals of both sides; as well as lectures, excursions, exchange of information resources and others.
The festive actions dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and organized together with Children's art school – UNESCO club and Department of education of Astana took place at the Museum of the First President on December 11, 2014.
The children's art school – UNESCO club is one of the first and reliable partners of the Museum with whom many years of fruitful joint creative activity are connected. Children's art competition «Native land», traditionally held on the eve of Independence Day of Kazakhstan, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. During this time a huge number of children from all country took part in competition, many participants were awarded diplomas. Felt, art of felting became a subject of the competition «Native land» this anniversary for the project year.
More than 150 best works from felt executed by young talents are presented in the exposition. Winners of competition were awarded by diplomas and memorable gifts.Then opening ceremony of the exhibition by results of competition took place.
On May 5, 2014 in the Museum of the First President of RK took place the literary evening «It is impossible to hold time's rotation …», dedicated to the 290th anniversary of the great poet of Turkmenian literature, philosopher, scientist Makhtumkuli Fragi. The evening was organized jointly with Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the limits of the international project of the Museum "Dialogue through culture".
Makhtumkuli Fragi is an outstanding Turkmenian poet and thinker of the XVIII century. Annually on May 18 in Turkmenistan is widely celebrated the state holiday «Day of revival, unity and poetry of Makhtumkuli Fragi». People like Makhtumkuli's works, which are handed and kept by musicians and storytellers, mainly thanks to the modern poetic language. His verse is approached to folk speech, it is set not on the Arab-Persian metrics, but on the national syllabic system. That is why the people adopt Makhtumkuli’s works. Many of his lines became proverbs and sayings.
At the literary evening were read the verses of the classic poet in Turkmenian, Kazakh and Russian languages. The guests had an opportunity to get acquainted with Makhtumkuli Fragi’s collection of works, translated to the Kazakh language by Duissenbek Kanatbayev.
On June 30, 2014 in the Museum of the First President of RK took place the festival of children creativity «I love you, Astana» within the limits of children project of the Museum «View from childhood» and the opening ceremony of the exhibition of socially significant posters «I love you, my native land!» by results of international competition «I live on this land». Actions organized by the Museum of the First President of RK and Children art school – UNESCO club together with Novosibirsk city public organization «Solyaris» for children and youth, Novosibirsk filial agency of Russian Fund of Culture, Novosibirsk Fund of Culture are dedicated to Day for protection of children. The festival was traditionally held on the eve of Children Day and once again pleased the participants and spectators with fascinating creative process, at the end of which awarding ceremony of the authors of the best works of the festival took place.
110 best works of annual city competition of Novosibirsk (Russia) from 2004 till 2013 are presented at the exhibition «I love you, my native land!». Distinctive feature of this exhibition is that it passes under the Peace and Culture Banner which is an international symbol of unity of all forces, promoting approach of bright future for all people and all mankind of our planet Earth.
On August 25, 2014, at 10.30 museum forum «Constellation of partners», held within the limits of celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Museum took place at the Museum of the First President of RK. Throughout the day inhabitants and guests of the capital could examine Forum expositions, get visual information about the activity of the Museum of the First President, directed on promotion of historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, take active part in Forum work.
The high business reputation of the Museum was formed thanks to effective partnership. Therefore the Museum of the First President invited a number of partners to participate in a new format of the mini-expositions forming integral perception of historical and cultural originality of all regions of Kazakhstan by means of showing a little bit of museum collections of our countrys regional museums. Museum forum "Constellation of partners" united creative groups from many regions of Kazakhstan. There were the museum collections from Aktau, Atyrau, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Otyrar, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Taraz, Ust-Kamenogorsk.
Guests of the forum had an opportunity not only to see the unique exhibits which were pride of different cities museum collections, but also to become spectators of the theatrical performance, participants of interactive part of action. The visitor could represent himself as the person of Eneolithic era or a worker in the virgin lands. There was an open-air of young artists of Astana and master classes for experts in museum business in the program of forum. The format of mini-expositions allowed to get acquainted with museum community of Kazakhstan in all its variety.
On November 6, 2014 the Museum of the First President of RK on the eve of the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan for the first time held exit excursion of the exhibition of the scientific-expositional project "Historical choice" for the teachers and students of the Eurasian humanitarian institute.
The exit excursion of the scientific-expositional project "Historical choice" was organized from the archival funds of the Museum and opened the historical base on which are formed social, civil qualities of a person who had become the Leader of the nation during the most dramatic periods of its history. The listeners had a look through pages of the documents of 1960-1970, studied the newspaper articles had published in the republican press of the Kazakh SSR.
The unique collection of various documents allowed learning a way which was passed by N. A. Nazarbayev from the Komsomol member and metallurgist to the Chairman of the Council of ministers of KazSSR, the First Secretary of Central committee of communist party of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Supreme Council and the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation.
