On December 6, 2016 at 11.00 am. in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place opening of the exhibition according to the results of the 12^th Republican competition of the children creativity «Туған жерім» («Native land») in the nomination «Graphic arts. Linocut». The event is dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Republican competition of the children creativity «Туған жерім» annually takes place within the children's Museum project "View from childhood" jointly with Children art school – UNESCO club of Astana.

           For the first time the competition «Туған жерім» was held in 2004. Nowadays the competition continues to develop and becomes even more significant. In the competition the children from 10 to 16 years studying at art schools and art departments of art schools, art studios and creative coteries of the Palace of Schoolchildren participate.

           Every year the organizing committee announces a making technology of the competition separately. The participants presented the works in technique of painting, various technicians of the decorative-applied arts and sculpture. This year, according to the conditions of competition, the children art creativity in "graphic arts and linocut" technique is appreciated. Graphic arts works are distinguished by pithiness and special beauty of the image. Graphic arts are various because there are used coal, ink, sanguine, pencil, etc. The linocut has a special interest – it is a print of an image which is cut out on linoleum. It gives the artists great graphic opportunities.

By tradition, the master classes are organized for the finalists of the competition arriving from regions. At the 12^th competition took part more than 250 works from all regions of Kazakhstan.

Dedicated to the 25^thanniversary of the closure of Semipalatinsk nuclear test site

 

The opening ceremony of the exhibition by the Swedish artist Tove Krabo «Crime Scenes: First Lightning», organized within the framework of the international project "Dialogue by the virtue of culture" of the Museum under the auspices of the Embassy of Sweden in Kazakhstan will take place on November 2, 2016, at 17.00 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2016, the people of Kazakhstan, along with the 25^thanniversary of independence celebrate another important anniversary, - 25 years since the President of Kazakh SSR Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Decree № 409 on «The closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site,» on August 29, 1991. Avery responsible and courageous decision to close the nuclear sitewas adoptedby the President of Kazakhstanin a fairly difficult time. It has played a backbone role in the political strategy of Kazakhstan.

«The exhibition CRIME SCENES: First Lightning, by the Swedish artist Tove Krabo, organized jointly by the Embassy of Sweden in Kazakhstan and the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presents a series of works, devoted to nuclear tests and their destructive consequences for mankind and the environment.

Sweden highly appreciates the initiatives of Kazakhstan aimed at nuclear disarmament, itself being for many years an active voice in the same field. The 25 years anniversary since Kazakhstan took the historic decision to close Semipalatinsk nuclear test site and to voluntarily renounce 4^th largest arsenal of Soviet-inherited nuclear weapons deserves to be highlighted as an important landmark event. Since 1991 numerous actions on nuclear disarmament have been undertaken on a global scale but the question is still highly relevant.

We are happy to note that this year both Sweden and Kazakhstan were convincingly elected to non-permanent seats at the United Nations Security Council in 2017-2018. Together with Kazakhstan we share a strong commitment for disarmament and non-proliferation and we will stand up for peace in our work at the UNSC.

By bringing this remarkable exhibition to Astana it is my hope that it will contribute to raising awareness on the adverse consequences of nuclear testing and nuclear weapons more broadly».

       In CRIME SCENES: First Lightning, artist Tove Krabo, born in 1974 in Gothenburg, Sweden, presents a series of water colour/ink and acrylic paintings depicting eerie landscapes from different disaster sites.

        First Lightning refers to the codename used when the Soviet regime started the atomic tests in Semipalatinsk in 1949, without any evacuation of people nearby, leaving a terrible impact on the locals. One painting shows an over and underwater view of the manmade radioactive atomic lake Chagan, where figures floating under the surface meet the spectator. Two other paintings show the site of The Polygon, but with different lights and mood.

       In my painting practise I try to create something that can’t be translated into text; something essentially different from text. It can only appear by being made, and the mood in which I paint it, plus the randomness inherent in the medium of fluid watercolour and ink will decide where it will end up.

      My painting work is cinematic in the sense that there is drama, movement, mood, light and darkness. I use images from the Internet as a starting point, most of them disaster scenes and human tragedy. I am afraid that the constant media image flow of disasters makes us insensitive, but by exploring these scenes through the work of painting, there is another notion of time installed, another importance made. 

       Tove Krabo lives and works in Gothenburg, Sweden after a period of 16 years abroad living in France, Australia and Jordan.  She studied Fine Arts in both Marseilles and Paris and she graduated from the l’École des Beaux Arts, Paris in 2003. She has also holds a Master Exam in Film from The Gothenburg Film Academy. Over the past years she has been working creatively with art in different forms; film, writing and painting, including painted porcelain plates. Tove Krabo has participated in numerous exhibitions in Sweden, France and other countries. Earlier this year she presented a solo exhibition titled Pangea at Frölunda Culture House in Gothenburg, which consisted of landscape paintings.

opens new halls and updated expositions

On October 27, 2016 at 3.00 pm. in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place a press tour through the halls which were closed for visitors and also through the updated halls of the permanent expositions of the Museum. It is a result of the first step of a great work for updating the subjects of the exposition halls of the Museum and museumfication of the building of the first Residence of the President of Kazakhstan in Astana.

For the first time a wide range of the visitors can see the 2nd Reception room and the Small office of the President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev. The furniture and interior are completely recreated in original state.

In the Small office the President held conference calls by means of a video conferencing system which allowed to provide bilateral or multilateral transfer of a voice signal. In the reception room are presented the works of N. A. Nazarbayev. There is possible to make photos.

The staff of the museum represents the results of a re-exposition of Mazhilis hall and foyer of the Dome hall. This work is complicated as a serious scientific research and art projection simultaneously.

In Mazhilis hall the President of Kazakhstan in 1997-2004 held working meetings with the staff of his Administration. There were developed the bases of the state development strategy of independent Kazakhstan. In the hall is placed the exposition «Republic of Kazakhstan: strategy of state development», which is in new way represents the materials reflecting the main directions of socio-economic and political development of modern Kazakhstan.

There are also unique fragments of the exposition in addition to creative supply of the archival and museum materials which are maximal opened to the visitors of different ages. A complete historical «immersion» in the material expect the visitors at the exposition where the museum reconstruction «Inauguration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan» is placed. The original things used at the ceremonies of different years, recreate the solemn moment of the inauguration of the head of state elected by the people. This zone is not only filled with interactive archival and museum materials, but also gives the opportunity to make alone or collective photos in the authentic historical atmosphere.

In the interactive zone is presented a large choice of paper documents and a video-archive according to the subject of the hall. In comfortable conditions the visitors can study manuscripts and documents with marks of the Head of state about the strategy of the state development of our country, to see a unique newsreel shots of Independence.

In foyer of the Dome hall are traditionally presented the gifts to the Head of state, and that exposition was cardinally updated. The wealth and interpenetration of the museum collection allowed by the results of its scientific-fund studying to present the exhibits, systematized according to material and making technology. A new view on wood, leather, glass, crystal; everburning shine of gold and silver; a shock when you look at bone and jade carving and a skillful embroidery silk - such emotions and impressions we expect from our visitors when they look through the exposition «Gifts to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

On the eve of such holidays as the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan and the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan the visitors of the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan will be able to estimate once again the level of reformations, which have a contribution of each citizen of independent Kazakhstan.

On September 9, 2016 at 5.00 pm. in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place opening of the exhibition «Light and shadow. Photos of Lev Dashkevich» from the funds of the National historical museum of the Republic of Belarus, organized in the limits of the international project of the Museum «Dialogue through culture» in assistance with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition is the first experience of joint work of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National historical museum of the Republic of Belarus within the memorandum of cooperation concluded in October, 2015. The organization of this exhibition was initiated by the Museum of the First President of RK in year of celebration of the 25 anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan as an example of strengthening of cultural relations between the republics.

The National historical museum of the Republic of Belarus was established in 1919. In its funds is stored the largest museum collection in Belarus – there are about 400 000 units of storage of historical and cultural monuments, since ancient archeological finds till the materials reflecting the contemporary period of the country’s history. The unique collections of written and art sources are on the state storage in funds of the museum. They can tell a lot of things about rich historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Belarus. The works of the pictorialist Lev Urbanovich Dashkevich is one of such amazing collections, pride of the museum collection.

Lev Urbanovich Dashkevich (1882 - 1957) is the Belarusian photographer, publicist, teacher, scientist and inventor. He was born on January 31, 1882 in Minsk in a noblemen family. His father Urban Kleofasovich was an adviser of the Minsk state chamber. The mother’s name was Antonina Ivanovna (Crucovskaya) Dashkevich. He graduated from the Dijon University (Romance department of literature faculty) and from the Higher school of graphic arts in Paris (photo department). The pictorialist was a teacher in some educational institutions in Erevan (Armenia), Ganja (Azerbaijan), Tiflis (Georgia) and Minsk. Lev Dashkevich was the first in Belarus who developed and began to give a course of lectures according to the photo (at the Minsk institute of national education), was one of the first representatives of the pictorial (picturesque) photo, worked in different photo-technicians. Lev Urbanovich was engaged in professional photo, scientific researches in the field of an X-ray analysis, studied influence of a biological ultraviolet on the trophism and regeneration of tissue, and as a result he developed a unique method of the fast regenerative process of the wounds.

The exhibition «Light and shadow. Photos of Lev Dashkevich» is the result of large research work of the staff of the National historical museum of the Republic of Belarus, in particular, of the curator of the exhibition, the supervisor of written and art sources department Nadezhda Ivanovna Savchenko. Nadezhda Ivanovna managed to identify photos which had been signed only by the author's monogram of the photographer «Л.Д.» and dated 1923. As a result, in addition to identification of authorship of the unique collection of photos, the set of the facts connected with the remarkable destiny of the photographer was revealed. The collection was supplemented with the photos from family archive of L. U. Dashkevich’s descendants. His photos were carefully reconstructed by the Israeli photographer Boris Ravich, and represented in Jerusalem at «Light and shadow» exhibition in April of this year. It was called in this way because a light and shadow played an important role in Lev Urbanovich's creativity, as you can see it in his works. At the exhibition in Astana will be presented 39 photos made by Lev Dashkevich during the period from 1910 till 1950. The considerable part of photos was made during ethnographic expedition in Igumensk and Logoysk in 1923.

On August 29, 2016 at 11.00 on the eve of the Day of Knowledge at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for first-formers of school-lyceum No. 64 will be held the lesson-holiday «Ата Заң – елдігімнің еңсесі» dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 25^th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

The lesson will be held at the museum exhibition «State symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan», where during the stay of the President's residence exhibited Honor guard. On the exhibition presents the text of the national anthem, flag, emblem, the Constitution of the country.

Accepted on August 30, 1995 the Constitution of Kazakhstan became a new step in the development of the republic as a democratic constitutional state, whose highest values are an individual, his life, rights and freedoms. The Basic law of the state is a document of special historical significance, which became the foundation for the development of sovereign country.

The holiday for children will be held in the game-quiz format «My Motherland – Kazakhstan» with elements of self-discovery. The young citizens of our country – first-formers of school-lyceum No. 64 – prepared a poem about patriotism, independence of the republic and unity of Kazakhstan's people. During the lesson they will draw the map of Kazakhstan, constitute «golden rule», which will be guide in life.

The children will learn about the role of the First President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev in the development of the Basic Law, share their knowledge about concepts such as homeland, native language, state symbols.

During the lesson will be use photo and film documents from the electronic collection of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In memory of the first lesson at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan prepared presents and souvenirs by the organizers.

      In the framework of the project «Child and culture» on the eve of the Capital day for the youngest citizens will be held museum children's festival «Жүрегімде мәңгі сенсің – Астанам!» at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on July 1, 2016 at 10.00.

      Organization of children's holiday in honor of the capital has become a good tradition and the result of a fruitful partnership of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with pre-school institutions of the Education department of capital. This year the event was prepared jointly with a collective of kindergarten «Merey» No. 53. The methodist of education department of Astana, heads of pre-school institutions, parents and kids kindergarten will take part in the event.

      Holding of such events takes a special place in the educational activities of the Museum: the magic world of warmth and friendship, a special atmosphere of the festival creates in children a sense of belonging to the historical events, which are held in the capital, love and pride to their city and country. In this year the event is held under the auspices of the events dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      The program includes: literary and musical compositions, theatrical miniatures, dance and choreographic performances. t's fun, bright and memorable celebration which kids give the capital of our republic – Astana, always full of joy, shining smiles and sonorous children's voices.

      On July 1, 2016 at 5 pm. at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place opening of «Father’s land» exhibition from the cycle «Master and pupils» of Toleugazy Baigaliev the figure of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the member of the Artists’ Union of Kazakhstan and his pupils of «Baigaliev» art-studio.

      A main goal of the exhibition is continuation of the subject of the Museum’s constant exposition «Atameken». There are exhibited the materials about the native land, childhood, youth and ancestors of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation. In the works presented at the exhibition you can see a connection between Ushkonyr the homeland of the President and Astana the capital of our Republic.

      The classic of the Soviet literature Chinghiz Aitmatov said: «The destiny of a man is determined by the place where he was born and grown. Man is like bee gathering nectar also absorbs the native land and feels it by his heart». The fruitful land of Zhetysu is the homeland of the great historic figures. They are pride of the Kazakh people; they revived fine traditions, kept peace and constantly served to the people. The first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev is among them.

      In the creative partnership of the Museum and the artist you can see loyalty to the subject of «small Homeland» and the President's brainchild - Astana. In 2011 at the Museum of the First President took place exhibition of Toleugazy Bayandyuly «Akmola-Tselinograd-Akmola-Astana». The exhibition was devoted to formation and development of Astana during different periods of the history.

      In August, 2015 T. Baygaliev took part in an open-air of Kazakhstan’s artists which took place in the small homeland of N. A. Nazarbayev in Ushkonyr. «Father’s land» exhibition from the cycle «Master and pupils» is a thematic continuation of that open-air. It allows you to feel all love to the native land where our ancestors born, lived, loved, worked and protected the Fatherland.

      Toleugazy Baygaliyev was born on August 20, 1963 in the East Kazakhstan region. In 1985 he graduated from faculty of painting and graphics of pedagogic institute named after N. Krupskaya. In his works you can see a beauty and harmony of the Kazakh steppes. Each picture shows the sincere feelings and beautiful forms in all completeness. Admiring his works, you can feel mood and feelings of the author. Soft coloring, quiet subject and composite decisions reflect skill and talent of the artist.

      T. Baygaliyev was awarded by the Gold medal of international competition in New York, in the nomination «Realism». The pictures of the master are in Nevzorovs museum, the Museum named after Abay (Semey), the Memorial estate «Bakhchisarai» (Crimea). His works can be met in the private collections of Kazakhstan, Russia, U.S., Germany, Korea, China and Ukraine.

      In 2011 in Astana under the leadership of T. Baygaliev was established «Baigaliev» art studio. Nowadays in studio under supervision of the artist are studied over 50 pupils aged from 6 till 30. There were organized two exhibitions from the moment of the studio opening: one was in «Көрме» expo-centre, the second was in the Museum of modern art of Astana. Sometimes the artist held the master classes for the pupils at «Tansholpan» telecast of «Kazakhstan» TV. Among Toleugazy Baygaliyev's pupils are winners of city, republican and international competitions in the fine arts. Among them are D. Zharmagambetova, A. Takenova, K. Bolotova, A. Sharipova, etc.

      On June 16, 2016 at 3.00 p.m. in the Karasay regional local-history museum will be held the exhibition «Magic of Time» from the collections of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      For the first time the exhibition «Magic of Time» was successfully held on the eve of the new 2016 year at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and had a positive response among the residents and guests of the capital. Considering the uniqueness of the exhibition and the wide interest of public to the exhibition, it was decided to take out the collection to the regions.

      It is symbolic that the exhibition opens on the eve of N.A. Nazarbayev’s birth day at the Presidential small country and provides the opportunity for guests and residents of Almaty region to get acquainted with the collection of watches from the museum fund. All of them were given to our President in recognition of the international authority of our country and its leader.

      The best samples of collection decorate the exhibition of Karasay regional local-history museum. The exhibition can rightfully called unique, because on the exhibition will be presented about 50 the most diverse and rare works of fine watchmaking. Among the exhibits - a variety chronometers in form, technology and execution time fireplace, table, wall, pocket and wristwatch. The unique skeletons, clock made using a variety of artistic techniques and materials, popular models of XIX-XX centuries, also models, which brought to European watchmakers deserved fame - all these will be collected and presented in the exhibition.

      The acquaintance with this intricate kind of decorative and applied arts can be till on September 15, 2016.

«BI Zhuldyzai» corporative charitable foundation

It is dedicated to the Day for protection of children

 

      On May 31, 2016 at 11.00 am in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place festive programme, dedicated to Children’s day. There will be opening of «Unlimited creativity» exhibition, the master classes, and the solemn ceremony of the finalists’ awarding of the 11^th Republican festival of works of children with disabilities «BI-Zhuldyzai» in the nominations «fine arts» and «decorative-applied art». The festive programme is prepared in the limits of the Museum children project «View from childhood» jointly with «BI Zhuldyzai» corporative charitable foundation, the children's art school – Astana UNESCO club and National Olympic Committee of RK.

      The Republican festival of the children's works «BI-Zhuldyzai» annually unites the children from all regions of Kazakhstan. A main goal of the festival is a creative socialization of children with disabilities. During 11 years 36 583 children participated in the festival. The graduates of the festival became the participants of the competition Bala Tukvisyon, White Cane festival, MUZ TV 2015 premium, the students of the Kazakh National University of Arts. Annually the festival is held with assistance of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also regional and city Departments of education.

      This year the first round of the republican festival took place from 5 till 20 of April in 16 cities of our country: Almaty, Taldykorgan, Shymkent, Taraz, Kyzylorda, Atyrau, Aktau, Aktobe, Oral, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Karaganda and Astana. The jury considered the talents of participants in six nominations: «choreography», «vocal execution», «tool execution», «sign performance of the song», «decorative-applied art», «fine arts». According to the tradition the Republican festival of the children's works will come to the end with the gala concert in «Kazakhstan» Central concert hall on June 1 in Children's Day.

      On May 31, 2016 the finalists of the festival in the nominations «fine arts» and «decorative-applied art» from all corners of Kazakhstan will come in the Museum. There will take place the master classes of the skilful pedagogues, the teachers of children's art school – Astana UNESCO club. The Olympic champions of Kazakhstan will take part in the solemn awarding of winners.

      On May 18 – 19, 2016 in Astana will take place the creativity of the glorified Concert chorus of St. Petersburg (the Smolny Cathedral Chamber Choir) and two photo exhibitions opening new images of the city on Neva. The photo exhibitions «St. Petersburg by eyes of Angels: view from Isaac» and «New Vision» – are the projects of the State Museum St. Isaac’s Cathedral representing a view of emerging and professional photographers to St. Petersburg and its sights.

      On May 18, at 3.30 pm. in «Nazarbayev Centre» of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation will take place signing of the Memorandum of partnership and cooperation between Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation and the State Museum St. Isaac’s Cathedral. At 4.00 pm. will take place the ceremonial opening of the photo exhibition «St. Petersburg by eyes of Angels: view from Isaac» and performance of Concert chorus of St. Petersburg (the Smolny Cathedral Chamber Choir) before the children with disabilities. 

      On May 19, at 5.00 pm. in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place opening of the photo exhibition «New Vision» and performance of Concert chorus of St. Petersburg (the Smolny Cathedral Chamber Choir) for the diplomatic and deputy corps, the creative society.

      Concert chorus of St. Petersburg (the Smolny Cathedral Chamber Choir) was established in 1991. The vocal manner of chorus is the European ease and a graphical part-writing. They are organically combined with original Russian intension of the timbre.

      The arrival of the body of the State Museum St. Isaac’s Cathedral to Astana continues and makes more profound the partnership between two museums. In 2015 the exhibition «Kazakhstan Way» from funds of the Museum of the First President was presented to the residents of St. Petersburg. There are realized joint museum and educational projects.

      Signing of the Memorandum of partnership and cooperation with Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation forms a basis for implementation of new extensive projects.

      Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is established in 2004. It is placed in the building of the first Residence of the President of Kazakhstan (1997-2004) in the new capital Astana. The museum studies the process of formation of the state sovereignty of the republic and a historical role of the First President N. A. Nazarbayev in construction of the independent democratic state, promotes the cultural heritage, supports the creative youth, and develops the inter-cultural dialogue.

      Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation is the non-profit organization established by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in 2000. The foundation makes the social, charitable, cultural, educational and other social-political projects.

      The State Museum St. Isaac’s Cathedral is a unique historical-art complex. Its memorial temples chronologically cover the whole period of cult architecture of St. Petersburg, since Peter’s times till the beginning of the 20th century. The museum conducts the history since December 12, 1948. Since 1969 it is the independent museum and in 1971-2004 Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ («Church of the Savior on Blood») and St. Sampson's Cathedral got into its structure. Today the State Museum St. Isaac’s Cathedral is a known All-Russian centre of culture, multifunctional museum institution.

      On April 6, 2016 at 3.00 pm in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place the literary evening and opening of the exhibition «Word about Mashkhur» devoted to historical and cultural heritage of the famous folklorist, poet Mashkhur Jusup Kopeev.

      In program:

      This event opens the exhibition cycle of the Museum devoted to the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. And it isn't casual: a literary heritage of Mashkhur Jusup Kopeev reflects the philosophical interpretation of ideas of originality and cultural variety of the Kazakh folklore which is the base of ideas of free-thinking, independence.

      From the point of view of the organizers an important task is expansion of information space of the poet and thinker’s heritage.  It isn't known by other nations except Kazakh people.

      The literary evening and exhibition are result of museological work of partners of the intermuseum project «National property» of the Museum of the First President. The materials classified by the staff of the Museum during their gathering work from funds of the Pavlodar regional museum of literature and art named after Bukhar zhyrau, the memorial museum named after K. Satpayev, Scientific library of the Eurasian National university named after L. N. Gumilev and «Отырар кітапханасы» scientific centre will be presented. The event was possible thanks to methodical, organizational work of the museum named after Bukhar zhyrau on promotion of heritage of the Kazakh poets and thinkers, including Mashkhur Kopeev.

      At the literary evening will be presented the folklore in M. Zh. Kopeev's interpretation, his literary ideas and there will be shown the creative parallels in poetry of the Kazakh classic and the Russian contemporaries. These subjects will bring up topical issues of conceptualization of spiritual heritage of the Great steppe, focus attention on the materials which were earlier stored in library and museum funds, but for the first time introduced at this literary evening.

      M. Zh. Kopeev's great-grandsons and researchers of his creativity will be guests of the literary evening.

      At the exposition are presented the personal things of the poet and thinker, his manuscripts and book publications, literary materials.

      Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev (1858-1931) was born in Bayanauyl village of the Pavlodar region. He was a folklorist, ethnographer, historian, talented poet, who spoke Arab and Persian languages perfectly. His literary and scientific heritage is part of a gold treasury of the Kazakh culture which has become a basis of Independence ideas.

      On March 28, 2016 at 3.00 pm in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place press-conference, dedicated to the 11^th Republican festival of works of children with disabilities “BI-Zhuldyzai”.   

      At the press-conference the organizers and the partners of the event will take part. The organizer is “BI-Zhuldyzai” corporative charitable foundation. The foundation was established in 2005 by «BI-Group» investment-construction holding company.    

      The Republican festival of the children's works “BI-Zhuldyzai” annually unites the children from all regions of Kazakhstan. A main goal of the festival is a creative socialization of children with disabilities. During 11 years 36 583 children participated in the festival. The graduates of the festival became the participants of the competition Bala Tukvisyon, White Cane festival, MUZ TV 2015 premium, the students of the Kazakh National University of Arts. Annually the festival is held with assistance of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also regional and city Departments of education.

      This year the first round of the festival will begin on April 5. In the jury are the heads of the Foundation, the organizers of the project, Kazakhstan variety star performers. They will visit 16 cities of our country: Almaty, Taldykorgan, Shymkent, Taraz, Kyzylorda, Atyrau, Aktau, Aktobe, Oral, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Karaganda and Astana.

      The jury will consider the talents of participants in six nominations: "choreography", "vocal execution", "tool execution", "sign performance of the song", "decorative-applied art", "fine arts". The intermediate results of the winners will take place in Republican children’s camp "Baldauren".

      The participants of the second round will take part in the interesting program – performance on the main scene of the country, master classes, excursions, exhibitions, meetings with recognized native stars, new friends, and the improbable atmosphere of the holiday.

      According to the tradition the Republican festival of the children's works will come to the end with the gala concert in "Kazakhstan" Central concert hall on June 1 in Children's Day.

      The present festival is held in cooperation with a number of new partners. They are united with the organizer of the festival by uniform approaches to creation of the favorable environment for children with disabilities.

      Partners:

      The Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan pays much attention to social work with children. The children's project of the Museum "View from childhood" has been held since 2005 and provides different formats: master classes, exhibitions, festivals of children's works.

      Since 2006, the art and therapeutic sessions, art trainings and creative meetings organized by the Centre of museum pedagogics for "Society of Disabled Children of Astana" Public association and "Balam-ai" Public foundation have been held.

      There are held the adapted tours in the museum for the visitors with disabilities.

      The exhibition of winners and participants of the festival of works of children with disabilities in May-June, 2007 became the first experience of cooperation of the Museum with “BI Zhuldyzai” foundation. In 2016 took place opening of “Unlimited creativity” exhibition by the results of the festival 2015.

      On the eve of celebration of Children's Day in the Museum is planned the exhibition of the works of the present 11^th festival’s participants in the nominations "fine arts" and "decorative-applied art", and also the solemn awarding of the finalists in these nominations.

      National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established on February 3, 1990 and gained recognition of the International Olympic Committee in March, 1992. The representatives of National Olympic Committee of RK, the famous sportsmen will take part in summing up and solemn awarding of winners of the festival. They will note a subject of sport and sporting achievements of Kazakhstan citizens.

      The children's art school – Astana UNESCO club was established in 1983. It received the status of UNESCO club in 2008. The teachers of children's art school – Astana UNESCO club will act as experts and will take part as jury of the festival. During the vernissage in the Museum with participation of the pupils of children's art school the plenary of participants of the festival will take place.

    The 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the main events of 2016. The Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan holds the exit excursions within cultural-educational actions.

Since 2014 the exit thematic excursions became one of new forms of excursion work of the Museum. Its purpose is increase of citizens’ interest in visiting of cultural objects, and also carrying out complex scientific-exposition and informational-mass work for the organization and holding the exhibitions and excursions devoted to the memorable events in the history of our country.

    On February 17, 2016 at 10.30 am in "Samuryk" kindergarten No. 45 will take place the exit excursion "Atameken". Simple words, interesting evident materials about history of the country, gaining Independence - it is a format of the excursion intended for the pupils of kindergartens and elementary schools.

    The exit excursion lets the little visitors get acquainted with the complex of unique materials including: photos, archival documents, video about life way of the Head of state N. A. Nazarbayev, whose biography is connected with the history of Independent Kazakhstan inseparably.
