Exhibition "Under the common shanyrak".
The opening of the exhibition took place on the threshold of the Day of the city on June 30, 2006.
Exhibition was organized by Eastern - Kazakhstan provincial architectural- ethnographical and natural- topographical museum - preservation. It introduced visitors to the material culture of the peoples of East Kazakhstan, where the representatives of 105 nationalities live by the united family.
The rich collection of museum acquainted the visitors of Museum with the models of national suit, the articles of decorative- applied skill and way of life, the jewelleries, dated XVIII- by the beginning ХХ of century. Among the exhibits of exhibition - Old Faith suits of the "masons" of the nineteenth century, wedding of takiya of Tajik and German wedding suit, Turkmen silver adornments, the suit of Korean court lady, etc.
Exhibition had been working for two months.
Exhibition "The painting of Kazakhstan. Traditions and modern tendencies".
Visitors became acquainted with 26 works of the top artists of Kazakhstan - A. Duzelkhanov, A. Kazgulov, K. Azhibekov, A. Smagulova an etc.
Among the represented works - picturesque portraits of Kultegin, Khans Ablaya and Kenesary, the "Send-offs of the bride" of the brush of A. Duzelkhanov, "Kyz-Zhibek" and "Kokpar" of K. Azhibekov, "Sayat" and "Otau" of A. Smagulova.

Exhibition of the work of the well-known artists of the world, who cooperate with the independent creative association "Құланши".
First cultural action in Kazakhstan, the joint project of Museum, welfare fund “Baita” dealing with the support of creative undertakings and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, international art- club "Kulanshi". Art - forum "Kulanshi" presented 79 works. Their authors - inhabitants of the different peoples and countries, presented painting, monoprint, sculpture of contemporaries, and also for the first time in central Asia - work Pablo Picasso, Jean Kokto and Marc Shagal.
Exhibition worked from October 10 to November 25, 2006.
Exhibition of children's creation, dedicated to the 15- anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the exhibition were represented the work of the winners of competition " Туған жерім", dedicated to the 15 - anniversary of the independence of Kazakhstan, which assembled drawings and stories of children from all regions of Kazakhstan.
