On December 13, 2016 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the ceremony of giving to the funds of the Museum the objects from the Cynological Centre of Committee of state revenues of the Ministry of Finance of RK.
At the ceremony were: vice-chairman of committee of state revenues of Ministry of Finance of RK G. K. Amrin, head of political department of the U.S. Embassy in RK Ningchuan Ju, chairman of ROS «Council of Generals» R.E. Kaydarov and many others.
The ceremony was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan and the 15th anniversary the Cynological Centre.
This initiative was announced by the Cynological Centre for the purpose of promoting of achievements of independent Kazakhstan in the field of ensuring national security.
The museum fund was supplemented with the materials opening implementation of state policy on ensuring national security of independent Kazakhstan.
The problem of fight against drug addiction constantly is in sight of the Head of state and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the presidential decree in 2000 was approved «The state program of fight against drug addiction and drug business in the Republic of Kazakhstan». On February 15, 2001 was established the public institution «Cynological centre» of Customs committee of Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main objective of the Cynological centre – is training of cynologists with guard dogs for customs and other special and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan on search of drugs, explosives, weapon, currency and derivatives.
In 2013-2015 the specialist-cynologists of Kazakhstan customs service are recognized as the best in competitions among the CIS countries.

On December 12, 2016 at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held the final and award ceremony of winners of the city competition «Independence – the great dream of ancestors, heritage of our generation» among specialists of social sciences of educational institutions, organized within the framework of celebration of of the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

Republican Scientific-practical Center «Daryn» of the Ministry of Education and Science of RK on the basis of «Alatau» sanatorium was held republican competition «Festival of innovative teaching ideas» on December, 7-8 2016 in Almaty.
According to the results of the regional qualifying rounds, where were featured more than 700 creative works. 300 participants from all regions of the country were invited to the festival. The festival is aimed at active and creative teachers who want exchange successful teaching experience with the professional community and demonstrate the results of their intellectual work with public.
Kazbekova Rauza Ulanovna, head of the Center of museum pedagogy the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the section «Management System in Education» presented the partnership «Project interschool intermuseum regatta» authors Kaipova B.M., deputy director of MFP RK, candidate of historical sciences, Kazbekova R.U., head of the Center of museum pedagogy of MFP RK, Makanova T.V. and Litvinova L.E., history teachers of «Complex «Kindergarten-school-gymnasium».
The festival was aimed at the development of communication and other types of competence, disclosure of the creative possibilities of heads and teachers for effectively work in a mobile educational environment, at improving the methods and technologies of teaching, sharing of experiences, enhancement of the status of the teaching profession, support personnel potential of the modern school, the preservation and strengthening of the unity of cultural-educational space of Kazakhstan. The forms and methods of increasing the level of education, the rating system in the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools were mainly theme of discussions. At this forum was presented the museum's theme for the first time, but despite this, aroused great interest among the members of the jury (professors of Suleyman Demirel University, the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay), as well as competitors and was recognized as innovative.
Diploma of 3rd class of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also Certificate of Republican Scientific-practical Center «Daryn» of the MES of RK was awarded «Project interschool intermuseum regatta».

On December 12, 2016 at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held the award ceremony of the winners of the republican competition among teachers of natural sciences of comprehensive and specialized educational institutions for the best video «Annals of the Expo», organized within the framework of celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

On December 9, 2016 was held the award ceremony of the city competition of pedagogical skills for the best museum lesson «Қазақстан – халықаралық аренада», dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This is a joint project of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Education Department of Astana, the Regional Scientific and Practical Center «Астана дарыны», Municipal Trade Union of Education Workers «Adilet».

On December 8, 2016 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place summing up the Competition among the artists devoted to the 25th anniversary of National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The competition lasted 7 months and collected more than 20 works of professional artists of our country. According to the condition of competition it was necessary to reflect in pictures the ideology of the Olympism and to show the achievements of Kazakhstan sport during 25 years.
The Secretary general of National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Daniar Abulgazin, the Art critic Ardak Yusupova, the Member of the union of artists of Kazakhstan Seysenkhan Makhambetov and the Olympic champion Serik Sapiyev were a part of the expert commission.
The winners of the competition were awarded with monetary certificates – the 1st place – 5 million tenges; the 2nd place – 3 million tenges and the 3rd place – 1 million tenges.

On December 6, 2016 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place opening of the exhibition according to the results of the 12th Republican competition of the children creativity «Туған жерім» («Native land») in the nomination «Graphic arts. Linocut». The event is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For the first time the competition «Туған жерім» was held in 2004. Nowadays the competition continues to develop and becomes even more significant. In the competition the children from 10 to 16 years studying at art schools and art departments of art schools, art studios and creative coteries of the Palace of Schoolchildren participate.
Every year the organizing committee announces a making technology of the competition separately. The participants presented the works in technique of painting, various technicians of the decorative-applied arts and sculpture. This year, according to the conditions of competition, the children art creativity in "graphic arts and linocut" technique is appreciated. Graphic arts works are distinguished by pithiness and special beauty of the image. Graphic arts are various because there are used coal, ink, sanguine, pencil, etc. The linocut has a special interest – it is a print of an image which is cut out on linoleum. It gives the artists great graphic opportunities.
By tradition, the master classes are organized for the finalists of the competition arriving from regions. At the 12th competition took part more than 500 works from all regions of Kazakhstan.

The final and awarding of the winners of the II citywide creative competition «Innermost soul strings: song creation of N.A. Nazarbayev», dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Palace of pupils named after Makhambet Utemisov on November 25, 2016. In the final of the competition took place 31 participant: students of capital colleges and music and singing teachers are participating for the first time.

On November 24, 2016 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place opening of the fund exhibition «Historical choice. Strategies». It is a logical continuation of the scientific-exposition project of Museum «Historical choice» and it is dedicated to the Day of the First President and the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan. This exhibition is most important in the series of the Museum events devoted to anniversary celebration. It is included in the Republican plan of actions for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.
A main goal of the exhibition is the consecutive explicated exposition, on the basis of archival and museum materials, ideas of Independence and their realization in the conditions of the state sovereignty.
The exposition is placed in the Dome hall. In history of Astana it is a place of proclamation a new capital of Kazakhstan. The exhibition includes the following thematic sections: «Messengers of Independence», «Historical choice», «Success strategies» and «Future energy».
Each section step by step opens the main milestones of gaining, formation and strengthening of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also achievements of Kazakhstan on the world scene by means of unique historical documents, archival photo and video materials, newspaper publications and exhibits from library and archival stocks of the Museum of the First President, Archive of the President of Kazakhstan, Public Records Office of Astana, the Kyzylorda history folk museum, the North Kazakhstan regional museum association. All this allows forming an objective view on events of the recent past and modern Kazakhstan, and also opens a historical role of N. A. Nazarbayev in formation of independent state – the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition «Historical choice. Strategies» allows addressing to the first political initiatives of N. A. Nazarbayev which, thanks to the content, got a positive response from the world community and today brought notable results for the whole world.

On October 27, 2016 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place a press tour through the halls which had been closed for visitors and also through the updated halls of the permanent expositions of the Museum. It is a result of the first step of a great work for updating the subjects of the exposition halls of the Museum and museumfication of the building of the first Residence of the President of Kazakhstan in Astana.
For the first time a wide range of the visitors can see the 2nd Reception room and the Small office of the President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev. The furniture and interior are completely recreated in original state.
In the Small office the President held conference calls by means of a video conferencing system which allowed to provide bilateral or multilateral transfer of a voice signal. In the reception room are presented the works of N. A. Nazarbayev. There is possible to make photos.
The staff of the museum represents the results of a re-exposition of Mazhilis hall and foyer of the Dome hall. This work is complicated as a serious scientific research and art projection simultaneously.
In Mazhilis hall the President of Kazakhstan in 1997-2004 held working meetings with the staff of his Administration. There were developed the bases of the state development strategy of independent Kazakhstan. In the hall is placed the exposition «Republic of Kazakhstan: strategy of state development», which is in new way represents the materials reflecting the main directions of socio-economic and political development of modern Kazakhstan.
There are also unique fragments of the exposition in addition to creative supply of the archival and museum materials which are maximal opened to the visitors of different ages. A complete historical «immersion» in the material expect the visitors at the exposition where the museum reconstruction «Inauguration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan» is placed. The original things used at the ceremonies of different years, recreate the solemn moment of the inauguration of the head of state elected by the people. This zone is not only filled with interactive archival and museum materials, but also gives the opportunity to make alone or collective photos in the authentic historical atmosphere.
In the interactive zone is presented a large choice of paper documents and a video-archive according to the subject of the hall. In comfortable conditions the visitors can study manuscripts and documents with marks of the Head of state about the strategy of the state development of our country, to see a unique newsreel shots of Independence.
In foyer of the Dome hall are traditionally presented the gifts to the Head of state, and that exposition was cardinally updated. The wealth and interpenetration of the museum collection allowed by the results of its scientific-fund studying to present the exhibits, systematized according to material and making technology. A new view on wood, leather, glass, crystal; everburning shine of gold and silver; a shock when you look at bone and jade carving and a skillful embroidery silk - such emotions and impressions we expect from our visitors when they look through the exposition «Gifts to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan».
On the eve of such holidays as the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan and the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan the visitors of the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan will be able to estimate once again the level of reformations, which have a contribution of each citizen of independent Kazakhstan.

On October 10, 11, 2016 during the official trip to Karasay area of Almaty region for the purpose of scientific and educational activities the employees of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held events in the Karasay museum of local history in Kaskelen.
Pupils of 10th grade of high school named after Abay were attended in the event. Opening the event, deputy director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, candidate of historical sciences B.M. Kaipova noted the importance of the event, which takes place in accordance with the plan of cooperation between the two organizations.
Then Chief Research Officer of the Scientific-research centre of the Museum L.A. Omarova within the «Elbasytanu» course acquainted with photo and video documents revealed in result of scientific-research activity.
In the practical part of the event senior research officer of the Centre of museum pedagogy A.A. Ospanova conducted trainings aimed for developing leadership skills of pupils by thematic plan of elective course «Development of leadership skills of youth».

The employees exchanged experience in work during visit «The world of President» museum in Ushkonyr middle school in the village Ushkonyr.
A round table «Елін жетістікке жетелейтін Елбасы» was held within the official trip. The classmates of Leader of the Nation – Kenesbay Baibosynov, Raya Serazitdinova, Kuliash Amirova, head of «Shapagat» museum Rymkesh Baykonysova, head of «Анаға құрмет» museum Bakyt Estemesova, head of «The world of President» museum in Ushkonyr middle school Aklima Kosemova took part in the work of round table. The participants discussed about the child, the school and the youthful years of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev.
In the final part of event the head of Karasay museum of local history in Kaskelen Maryam Kozhanova noted the joint activities with the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressed her conviction in the implementation of projects based on cooperation between the two organizations in the future.

On September 16, 2016 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan the professor of So-Katoku Ikenobo Ms. Midori Yamada made the master class of Ikebana art.
The event was organized in assistance with the Embassy of Japan to RK in the limits of the international project of the Museum «Dialogue through culture». The participants of the master class had an opportunity to comprehend the secrets of ikebana art, to make a bouquet themselves, and also to visit the exhibition of Ms. Yamada’s works.
Ms. Midori Yamada is a founder and the first president of Ikenobo in Russia, the Cavalier of “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays”, the master of the tea ceremony of Omotesenke school and Sumi-e Japanese painting. Ms. Yamada for 25 years has been conducting the courses and the master classes in many cities of Russia, Turkmenistan, Tatarstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia and Kazakhstan.
Ikebana is a generation of the Japanese way of life. This art form is created by the nation which for centuries educated in itself ability to address to the nature, as to an inexhaustible treasury of fine. Originality and soleness, refinement and daintiness, variety of forms and styles of the ikebana allows this art form to come home to many people of the whole world.

On August 29, 2016 on the eve of the Day of Knowledge at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for first-formers of school-lyceum No. 64 was held the lesson-holiday «Ата Заң – елдігімнің еңсесі» dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

On July 1, 2016 has been started the festive events dedicated to the Day of the capital, the museum children's holiday «Жүрегімде мәңгі сенсің – Астанам!» was held for the youngest citizens of the city.
Organization of children's holiday in honor of the capital has become a good tradition and the result of a fruitful partnership of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with pre-school institutions of the Education department of Astana. This year the event was prepared jointly with a collective of kindergarten «Merey» No. 53.

The children gave to the beloved capital of our country – Astana musical compositions «Елін сүйген, елі сүйген Елбасы», «Happy birthday – Astana!», « Happiness – it's you and me!», theatrical miniatures, dance-choreographic performances «Астана гүлдері», «Батырлар», instrumental piece of children's orchestra, filled with joy, shining smiles and sonorous children's voices. The choreographic composition «Достық» and flashmob «Жайна, Астана!» become a musical souvenir. The kids have launched in sky balloons and make come true desires at the conclusion of the concert to the applause of the guests of the event – representatives of Astana Department of education, the preschools methodist of capital and parents.

On May 19, 2016 at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place opening of the photo exhibition «New Vision» and performance of Concert chorus of St. Petersburg (the Smolny Cathedral Chamber Choir).
The exhibition was organized within the framework of the International project «Dialogue through culture», and the Memorandum on cooperation of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Museum «St. Isaac's Cathedral».
The goal of the exhibition is to represent a view of young photographers to St. Petersburg, its sights and unique historical-art complex – museum of four cathedrals: St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ («Church of the Savior on Blood») and St. Sampson’s Cathedral. This project shows St. Petersburg from other view, gives an opportunity to feel its modern breath, the life rhythm with beauty of classical traditions.
The ceremony of opening was accompanied by performance of one of the famous chorus body - Concert chorus of St. Petersburg (the Smolny Cathedral Chamber Choir). The chorus was established in 1991. The vocal manner of Concert chorus of St.Petersburg is the European ease and a graphical part-writing. They are organically combined with original Russian intension of the timbre.

19 мая 2016 г. в Музее Первого Президента Республики Казахстан состоялась церемония открытия фотовыставки «Новый взгляд. New Vision», с концертным выступлением Концертного хора Санкт-Петербурга (Камерного хора Смольного собора). Выставка организована в рамках Международного проекта «Диалог посредством культуры», а также Меморандума о сотрудничестве Музея Первого Президента Республики Казахстан и Государственным Музеем-памятником «Исаакиевский собор».
Цель выставки – представить взгляд молодых фотографов на Санкт-Петербург, его достопримечательности, а также на уникальный историко-художественный комплекс – музей четырёх соборов: Исаакиевский собор, храм Воскресения Христова (Спас на крови), Смольный собор, Сампсониевский собор. Этот проект показывает Санкт-Петербург с иного ракурса, дарит возможность почувствовать его современное дыхание, ритм жизни, пропитанный красотой классических традиций.
Церемония открытия выставки сопровождалась выступлением одного из известнейших хоровых коллективов – Концертного хора Санкт-Петербурга (Камерного хора Смольного собора). Хор был создан в 1991 году. Вокальная манера Концертного хора Санкт-Петербурга – европейская легкость и графичность голосоведения органично сочетается с исконно русской насыщенностью тембра.

On April 6, 2016 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the literary evening “Word about Mashkhur” devoted to historical and cultural heritage of the famous folklorist, poet Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev.
Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev (1858-1931) was born in Bayanauyl village of the Pavlodar region. He was a folklorist, ethnographer, historian, talented poet, who spoke Arab and Persian languages perfectly. His literary and scientific heritage is part of a gold treasury of the Kazakh culture which has become a basis of Independence ideas.
At the literary evening was presented the folklore in M. Zh. Kopeev's interpretation, his literary ideas and there were shown the creative parallels in poetry of the Kazakh classic and the Russian contemporaries. These subjects bring up topical issues of conceptualization of spiritual heritage of the Great steppe, focus attention on the materials which were earlier stored in library and museum funds, but for the first time are introduced at this literary evening.
The literary evening has been the result of museological work of partners of the intermuseum project “National property” of the Museum of the First President. In the program of the literary evening took part the famous scientist-philologists, among them are: doctor of philological sciences, Professor, pro-rector of the ENU named after L. N. Gumilev Dikhan Kamzabekuly, doctor of philological sciences, Professor Serik Negimov, director of the scientific library of the ENU named after L. N. Gumilev Bakhytzhan Orazaliev. Among special guests are the descendants of the famous poet: doctor of philological sciences, Professor Nartai Zhusup, doctor of historical sciences, assistant professor Laura Zhusup, and historian Asset Pazylov.
