On May 6th, 2011 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the Ceremony of giving of the awards and the grants to the participants and the winners of the competition of the voluntary projects, organized together with the embassy of the USA, «Nazarbayev Intellectual schools» and Republican scientifically-practical center "Daryn". The schoolchildren from all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the competition.

The purpose of the competition is to promote the development of voluntary work and work for the public weal among schoolchildren. The pupils of the ninth forms had developed the projects of the public works which would carry out in their cities.
Awards were handed over to the victorious teams by the Charge D’ Affaires of the USA to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. John M. Ordway.

Nowadays youth are interested not only in the entertainment. Young men put before them the problems directed to the improvement of the quality of life in native cities, the help needing, and cultivations of eternal moral values. The award for them was not only the recognition of the society of their diligence, but also monetary grants 500 dollars from USA embassy for the realization of their projects.
The work with the children audience is one of the priority directions in the activity of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For the sake of the best education of the children the Museum cooperates with NPО, the state structures, various education organizations: from preschool – to high school, from general educations – to elite.
In honor of the competition winners the organizers prepared the interesting concert program. There took part the children musical collectives, the winners of the republican competitions of the young performers.

The On February 10, 2011 on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan took place city intellectual competition “From century to century” (“Gasyrdan-gasyrga”). It’s a partner project of the Museum of the First President of RK and “Regional scientific-practical centre “Astana daryny”.

The The object of the event is formation of Kazakh patriotism in young generation, education to careful attitude for the history and culture of motherland.

9 winner teams from 70 schools participated in preliminary stage continued the competition in the Museum. The final stage was conducted in three rounds: “Presentation”, “Do you know?”, “Competition of captains”.
The intellectuals’ competition was directed to understanding by the pupils of the historical path passed by young sovereign state, detection of talented pupils demonstrating high interest to the foundation and development of Kazakhstan, development of their creativity and public activity.
“From century to century” competition showed deep knowledge of history by the pupils. The performances of the pupils were very exciting. Spectators were very interested in the theatre performances where the pupils presented masterfully the fragments about historical persons as Sultan Beibarys, Bukhar Zhyrau, Tauke Khan, Ibrai Altynsarin, Saken Seifullin, Mustafa Shokai,etc.
The participants were judged by competent jury consisted of scientists, representatives of Astana city maslikhat, state inspection on protection of historical and cultural monuments, K.Baisыeitova National theatre of opera and ballet, specialists of capital art school No. 2.

The The team of the school No. 64 won the Grand Prix, the team of the gymnasium No. 17 won the 1st place, the School No. 54 was at the second and the school No. 48 was at the third place.
The The winners of the contest received diplomas and memorable books from Museum of the First President of RK and precious gifts from the partner “Regional scientific-practical centre “Astana daryny”.
