On August, 29 2014 the lesson "Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan — the Basic law of the country", dedicated to Constitution Day and Knowledge Day took place at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The organizers of this festival were the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Public Association "Zhas Otan" of “Nur Otan” party.
The Constitution adopted on August 30, 1995 became a new step in development of the republic as democratic constitutional state which highest values are an individual, his life, rights and freedoms. The basic law of the state is a document of special historical significance, which became the foundation of the national and state development of the sovereign state.
During the first lesson at the Museum future first-formers of school gymnasium No. 4 named after Zh. Zhabayev learned about their rights and duties according Constitution, about role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev in development of the basic law. During this lesson video materials and photographic documents from Museum funds were used.
The solemn event was ended with the first call and gifts for the first-formers in the memory of the first lesson at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On July 2, 2014 on the eve of the Day of the capital at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the youngest citizens took place the museum children festival “Astana is a city of dream”.
Since its foundation the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan cooperates with preschool institutions of the capital. For this category of the participants in the educational program of the Museum developed a special project “Child and culture”, aimed at familiarizing of children to culture, learning with spiritual values of their people, the revival of cultural traditions. One of the most interesting forms for children to express themselves with the creative side – is children parties. They develop at children sense of humor, flexibility of mind, intelligence. In turn, the children are preparing for the holidays with great responsibility. No one holiday is completed without theatrical performances, songs, dances. The preschool children become the artists with pleasure. As a result, the child vocabulary is activated, improving the culture of speech, and between children develop creative atmosphere of cooperation.
This year the children of nursery-kindergarten No. 4 “Aruzhan” were the first who congratulated the capital with birthday. The guests of the event - the leaders of preschool institutions of the capital, the parents - warmly welcomed the performance of the children, which was based on a fascinating journey through the pages of the history of our capital Astana. The children provided to viewers the magical world of childhood, the beauty of native land, impressed in music and lyrics about Astana - the capital of Kazakhstan.
The children took from the organizers the gifts and souvenirs in memory about the holiday at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the end of the holiday the balloons were let to the sky of Astana.
Spiritual and moral development of the citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of key factors of modernization of the country. It is impossible to create modern innovative economy, passing an individual, a state and quality of his internal life. In this direction Museum as the social institute is able to influence the personality, to promote the formation of his citizenship, need-motivational sphere, priorities in life, moral convictions, moral standards and spiritual values. Activity of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is not only collecting, storage, the registration of its collections, a variety of exhibitions and expositions, scientific researches. Today the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the famous enlightenment and research, cultural and educational centers of the country. The museum forms its own social biography in society, the special information status in relationship with the audience and became the integral link of one whole educational process of the capital.
Museum educational programs involves the widespread introduction of interactive, innovative methods and techniques of training and education by museum means showing the progress of the country and the recognition of the young sovereign state in the world political arena through strategic talent, vision, persistence in achieving goals of the Leader of the Nation. As a result of long-term partner activity of MFP RK and Department of education of Astana the project of an interschool inter-museum regatta initiated by the Museum and created in a creative tandem of the Museum and teachers of "Kindergarten-school-gymnasium No. 46" T.V. Makanova and L.E. Litvinova is successfully realized.
Regatta is a long-term partnership project organized for pupils of educational institutions of Astana with a visit of 13 museums - "unknown islands". Under the terms of this game, the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the "Archipelago" uniting in itself "islands" – museum objects. "Regatta" is focused on a team game from 7 people. Age: pupils of 7-8 classes.
The game purpose: creation of unique opportunity to visit the school museums of Astana, better to know about the native land, life and activity of the well-known people who made the significant contribution to history of development of Kazakhstan society.
Aims:
1. formation of historical thinking of pupils through museum collections, archival documents;
2. "revival" of museum work in the school museums;
3. development of creativity of schoolchildren;
4. instilling of culture of leisure.
The most important aim:
education of interest of schoolchildren in studying of the contemporary history of the country and understanding of a historical role of the First President – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev in formation and strengthening of sovereign Kazakhstan.
Game consisted of 2 stages. The program of the 1st stage included visit of the museums within February, March, April, 2014 along 3 thematic routes: "The special storeroom", "Kaleidoscope of cultures", "Both remembrance, and feat, and glory".16 applications from schools of Astana were received for participation in this game. During traveling at the 1st stage contestants:
1. visited "unknown islands" – museums;
2. made tasks (5 tasks, everyone is estimated on 5 mark system by the keeper of the museum - "island";
3. correctly filled in the Logbook;
4. collected a puzzle model of the exhibit which is stored in "Archipelago";
5. prepared video presentation about fascinating travel for the report;
6. handed over reporting documents to "Archipelago" till May 5, 2014.
Winners of the 1st stage of a regatta were invited to "Archipelago" keepers of which prepared the most interesting tasks for finalists: to study the objects located at "Archipelago", to solve crossword puzzles, to make logical tasks, to answer questions of an intellectual quiz.
