2013
On December 13, 2013 took place the final of city competition: "Тәуелсіздік – ұраным!", devoted to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A main goal of the competition is studying and systematization of the main stages of formation of the sovereignty of our country and a historical role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev.

The final was reached by the following productions of history teachers of Astana schools:
– Zhumadilova Zh.K. – school lyceum No. 56;
– Baykushikova L.R., Makhmetova B.O. – gymnasium No. 67;
– Baytazhikova Zh.E. Nurtazina B.K. – school lyceum No. 66.
The schoolchildren together with the teachers in the short performances showed the pages of Kazakhstan history, since time of formation of the Kazakh khanate, and reflected events of the XV-XVIII вв, formation of the Soviet statehood system, the Great Patriotic War, December performances of 1986. The history of declaration of independence and formation of the new capital Astana became the culmination of the performances.
All three final productions were made in one composition and showed skills of methodical work of participants of competition – the capital teachers - in the field of museum pedagogics and their ability to use museum and pedagogical methods in their professional activity.

The competition promoted identification and improvement of advanced technologies in the field of partnership of the museums and school, promoted an interchange of innovative experience in the sphere of museum education, promoting of the unique collection of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Following the results of competition the gifts were handed over to winners.
The competition «Әке көрген оқ жонар» took place at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 21, 2013.
The organizers were Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the public association "Union of Fathers".
The Head of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev in his speeches has repeatedly noted that education has to be directed on the formation of spiritual values. Only on the basis of ennobling of patriotism the love for the motherland is consolidated, sense of responsibility for its power and independence is peeped, nobility and dignity of the personality develops.
Great attention to the actions promoting strengthening of a role of a family in education of young generation is paid in the Educational program of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The family, preservation of traditions of family education play the main role in spiritual, cultural, moral formation and development of young Kazakhstan citizens, in their orientation to the full disclosure of the intellectual and creative potential in interests of all society.
Established on the basis of school-lyceum No. 59 "Union of the Fathers" today united the parent community of all educational institutions of Astana. The mission of the public association "Union of the Fathers" is strengthening of the prestige of paternity, development of activity of citizens, assistance to international and civil accord.
The main objectives of this public association is participation in charity, carrying out of cultural and educational, sport work, protection of monuments of history and culture, education of patriotism and humanity. Actions of association are directed on involvement of fathers in process of education of children and teenagers, their participation in actions of educational institutions.
The competition consisted of 6 rounds; the teams which have won a selection stage were allowed to participate. Family teams competed in their knowledge of their ancestry, national customs and traditions in education. Participants showed their talents, artistry, and ability to create hand-made crafts with their hands. Not only fathers’ knowledge of traditional pedagogics, but also using them in educating sons conquered the jury.
According the results of competition the Іst place was taken by Nurlanbek Bakytzhan's family (school gymnasium No. 52), ІІnd place – Dias Kamalov’s (school lyceum No. 38), ІІІrd place – Magzhan Ozbekbay’s (school gymnasium No. 51).
The Daiyrbekovs (secondary school No. 61) became the winners in the nomination «Ынтымақты отбасы», the Abilovs (school lyceum No. 64) in the nomination «Әкеге қарап ұл өсер» and family of Madiyar Mysyrgazhy (high school No. 68) «Ата-баба тегін білу – ұрпаққа аманат».
The chairman of public association "Union of Fathers" Kuanysh Dzhumatayev, expressing gratitude to administration of the Museum for the initiative of carrying out of action «Әке көрген оқ жонар» noted: "Unification of fathers and children is the key purpose of this action. The role of father in education of children is important, it is necessary to intensify participation of fathers in actions of such kind".
Commemorative prizes were handed to the participants of competition.
On November 13, 2013 took place the rewarding ceremony of participants of the city essay competition "National currency is one of statehood’s symbols» dedicated to the 20th anniversary of introduction of national currency at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Central Branch of National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Education Department of Astana.
Competition was directed to identification of the talented pupils showing keen interest in history of formation and strengthening of the Republic of Kazakhstan, development of their creative potential and public activity.
Competitive committee conducted the selection of the best works from the 7th to 10th of November, 2013. Expert committee headed by the Chairman - Deputy Director of the Museum, candidate of historical sciences B.M. Kaipova, and its members - the Director of the Central Branch of the National Bank of Kazakhstan M.H. Seifullin, methodologists of Education Department of Astana D.K. Amirgalieva and K.K. Adinaeva, employees of the Museum – G.B. Karagizova, R.U. Kazbekova, N.K. Musina, A.A. Ospanova, D.S. Kushunova had to carry out hard and responsible work. 112 essays from educational institutions of Astana were submitted for competition from October 1 to November 7, 2013.
The Competitive committee according to criteria of Provision allowed for the competition 91 essays. 6 nominations and 3 prize-winning places in accordance with directions of schooling in state and Russian languages are

On August 29, 2013 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the lesson-holiday «Білім әлеміне саяхат» («Travel to world of knowledge»), devoted to the Constitution day and dated for Knowledge day.The organizers of the holiday were the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Public association "Youth wing "Zhas Otan" of People's democratic party "Nur Otan". In this year 30 first graders of «Kazgarysh» school lyceum No. 50 named after Raiymbek batyr celebrated the Knowledge Day the first in the capital.

On August 30, 2013 our republic celebrated an important event in the history – the 18 anniversary of the Basic law of the country, the document of the special historical importance which has become the base of the national and state development of the sovereign state. Future first graders – young citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan learned about the rights and duties put in the Constitution of the country.
The holiday for children was as 40 minutes lesson. Instead of mathematics and literature, children went to fascinating travel through the Knowledge country, got acquainted with history of creation of the Basic law, learned about a role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev in development of the project of the Constitution. Travel to the museum country acquainted the smallest schoolchildren with bright pages of history of independence of our Homeland.
In honor of the Constitution day the children prepared vocal and choreographic performance to guests of the holiday. In memory of the first lesson in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the organizers handed over to the first formers gifts and souvenirs.
