The "round table" "Historical choice" devoted to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was carried out on November 27, 2014.

The event was organized jointly with the Department of Education of Astana. The methodologists of Department of education, teachers of public disciplines, students of capital colleges, pupils of comprehensive schools took part in the work of "round table".

The speakers told about the history of independent Kazakhstan analyzing the stages of development of independent Kazakhstan, noted fidelity of historic choice made by the people of Kazakhstan on December 1, 1991.

The excursion prepared on materials of the thematic exhibition from the funds of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Historical choice. Creation", where the unique archival materials opening a historical role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev in creation of the independent democratic state are presented became logical continuation of this event.

"Round table" "Live issues of safety of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of "Strategy-2050": experience and prospects", devoted to Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place on November 25, 2014 at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"Round table" was organized together with Research institute of National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation.

The representatives of Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chiefs and research officers of Research institute of National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation, scientists, researchers, pupils of the Republican school "Zhas Ulan" named after the general S. K. Nurmagambetov took part in the work of "round table".

The director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Sagyngali in the speech of welcome noted: "A basis of success of our polyethnic and polyconfessional society is peace and accord, equality of all citizens and their common responsibility for destiny of the Homeland, unity and accord in the society. Not accidentally, 2015 is declared as the Year of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in honour of the 20^th anniversary of its creation. 2015 is a year of the 20^th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution, the 550 anniversary of foundation of the Kazakh khanate and the 70^th anniversary of the Great Victory".

M. O. Serkpayev, the deputy chief of National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation, the chief of Research institute, the doctor of historical sciences, the assistant professor, the colonel in his speech told about role of the President of the country N. A. Nazarbayev in formation and making of Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and noted: "From the first days of creation of Armed Forces of the country the Head of state everywhere reminded officials of the management of defensive system that our independence needs reliable protection".

Speech of S. A. Konovalov, manager of sector of the Centre of strategic development and analysis of Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of sociological sciences was devoted to the social engineering of image of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev.

The participants of the "round table" also considered the issues of intercultural, interfaith and interethnic dialogue as a factor in ensuring continental security and stability; development of military education and science in accordance with the requirements of the President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev; interaction of Kazakhstan with the CIS countries on counteraction to the latest threats of national security; the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev in development of astronautics of Kazakhstan.

The participants of "round table" noted that ensuring national security is one of the most important priorities of each state, which intends to take a worthy place in the world community. It is right and for Kazakhstan which is among the sovereign states which clearly realized the national interests and built own hierarchy of internal political and foreign policy priorities.

The extremely important role in this direction is played by the President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev who made the significant contribution to the theory and practice of construction of the independent state. Harmonious and effective system of national security, corresponding to the spirit and needs of the global era was created under his direct management in Kazakhstan.

On August 25, 2014 international scientific-practical conference "Museum in modern society. Searches of new ways of development" took place at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Conference was devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Museum and directed on communication strengthening between the museums and scientific centers, uniting of academic and museum community.

Organizer of this conference is Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We were supported by the party "Nur Otan", the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Leader of the Nation.

Representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan, government bodies, scientific and museum community from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and different regions of Kazakhstan took part in this conference.

Participants of conference discussed the questions connected with development of the museums at the present stage, their scientific and educational potential; interactive and information technologies in museum practice; museum pedagogy; new forms of work with visitors.

During the plenary session M. B. Kassymbekov, the Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan sounded a greeting message of the Head of state in which it was noted that "The museum, having become the important cultural and research center of our country, makes the significant contribution to strengthening of the Kazakhstan feeling of patriotism and love for the country".

"The Museum held exhibitions constantly, a variety of cultural and educational events instilling esthetic education, love for the motherland. And today's actions, organized at the initiative of the Museum, witness about these qualities, "- said A. Muhamediuly, Minister of culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Director of the state museum-monument "St. Isaac Cathedral" N.V. Burov emphasized the role of N.A. Nazarbayev in Astana creation through the prism of which "he saw a strong, dynamic and opened to the whole world country." According to the guest from Russia, leader of Kazakhstan "opened Kazakhstan for the world and the world for Kazakhstan, Astana becomes a symbol of future of the country, a symbol of its definite renewal."

Participants of the section "Museums, libraries, archives as institutes of keeping of cultural heritage", having discussed the reports, noted that the museums, libraries and archives, along with other institutions and organizations of culture and education, actively participate in creation of the cultural environment for development of spiritual, moral life of citizens in preservation of cultural heritage; realize extensive programmes, directed on satisfaction of interest in features of culture and mentality of modern dynamically developing societies.

Section “Museum and science: Partnership. Experience. Prospects.” was devoted to discussion of questions of the significance and relevance of research work in the activity of the museums in the modern world. According to the results of the discussion, participants of section noted need of the edition of scientific and methodical publications on interaction of science and the museum sphere; as well as organization of information and scientific exchange between the domestic and foreign museums.

Participants of the section "Role of museums in formation of historical consciousness of young generation" emphasized increase of a role and place of the museums in the conditions of globalization, as cultural, educational and scientific centers in preservation of historical heritage, development of spiritual culture, education of patriotism and civic consciousness. According to unanimous opinion, the museums realize important function on formation of historical consciousness of younger generation

Three master classes: "Professionalism and competence of the museum worker", "Professional mobility in the museum sphere", "Innovative forms of work in educational activity of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" were held within the programme of conference.

At final plenary session conferees noted not only the high organizational level of carrying out and pithiness of action, but also professionalism of staff of the Museum.

Following to the results of the international scientific-practical conference participants adopted recommendations.

R. Zh. Ilyasova, the honoured worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the winner of an award of journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the award "Kurmet", the head of a master class "Professionalism and competence of the museum worker" emphasized importance of carrying out conference for museum community. G. A. Zaytseva, head of a master class "Professional mobility in the museum sphere" in her speech thanked administration of the Museum.

RECOMMENDATIONS

of international scientific-practical conference

"Museum in modern society. Searches of new ways of development"

Conference was devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Museum and directed on communication strengthening between the museums and scientific centers, uniting of academic and museum community.

Representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan, government bodies, scientific and museum community from Kazakhstan and CIS took part in the conference.

94 applications were received for participation at conference, 61 reports are from these applications. Within work of three sections of conference 54 persons – scientists and practicians from Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, practically from all regions of Kazakhstan spoke.

Noting the high level of preparation of the reports presented during conference, relevance of problems and questions, interest and a constructive exchange of opinions, conferees consider it expedient to recommend the following:

1. The Ministry of Culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan should consider opportunities of:

· activization of work on creation of modern regulatory base registration and storage of the museum values corresponding to modern information technologies and technical resources;

· development and introduction on the adoption of the Laws "About museum institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "About librarianship of the Republic of Kazakhstan", with the introduction of standards for the research activities of regional museum institutions;

· formation of a working group of representatives from the museum community on the analysis and application of museum and library institutions of advanced foreign and domestic experience to create a new system of external communications museums;

· studying and distribution of Russian museums, the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan regional folk museum, East Kazakhstan museum of arts experience on creation of modern system of museum communications using information technologies;

· formation of national training structure for restoration of historical and cultural values, including manuscripts, medieval book rarities to create the Center (laboratory) of restoration of book rarities and manuscripts;

· checking the establishment and operation of unitary digital library fund on the basis of "National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Astana" for ensuring safety and availability of cultural heritage, introduction to a scientific turn of valuable historical materials;

· organization of regional specialized libraries for visually impaired and blind;

· further work of scientific expeditions and business trips in archives, libraries and the museums of the countries of the near and far abroad for the purpose of replenishment of national cultural fund;

· creation of the methodical Center of a museology on the basis of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

· the organization of work on professional development of museum workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of separate museum establishments of the country on profiles of museum activity (on the basis of the certified courses);

· studying and distribution of domestic and international experience in area of development of museum business and promotion of the national original and modern art of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

· active development of intermuseum partner projects for creation of united museum space on organizational and methodical and scientific and educational activities;

· organizations of work on professional development of museum workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of separate museum establishments of the country on profiles of museum activity (on the basis of the certified courses); studying of the best practices concerning the leading tendencies in expansion of the directions of cultural and educational activity for the purpose of promoting of historical and cultural values.

2. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in view of undoubted historical and cultural and educational value of the museums of a historical profile should consider opportunities of:

• studying and distribution of experience of the Russian museums, the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the museums of Kazakhstan on creation of modern system of museum communications using innovative technologies;

• assistance to the edition of scientific and methodical works on interactions of science and the museum sphere;

• creations of united information and methodical platform on distribution of positive experience of educational activity of museum institutions, for this purpose to carry out an expert assessment of the saved-up experience on the main activities and to define concrete museum institutions, as the information and methodical centers.

3. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan should consider the following opportunities of:

• further work on introduction of educational standards on training of narrow experts for the museum sphere, in particular, on restoration of museum fund;

• creation of an intellectual electronic library resource, as the stable, safe and professionally supported information environment, introduction to structure of the working groups of representatives of the academic public;

• development of standards of creation and functioning of the school museums ("Provision on the school museums");

• for a mutual exchange and promotion of science and culture of carrying out annual scientific and practical programs and actions for various directions of museum business at the interstate level;

• formations of integrated approaches of research and educational activity for implementation of projects on studying of history of independence and preservation of historical and cultural heritage;

• carrying out active work on education of patriotism and civil consciousness in museum and other cultural and educational institutions on the basis of studying of historical values;

• active use of innovative technologies in research and educational activity;

• the organizations on the basis of separate museum establishments of the country of work on carrying out training and courses for professional development of museum workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the certified courses.

4. The museums and libraries of the Republic of Kazakhstan have to:

• develop techniques of expeditious use in practical activities of experiment of the foreign museums on preservation and promotion of national cultural values, to formation of public tolerance;

• introduce actively the latest information, digital and other innovative technologies for preservation, exhibiting and promoting of historical and cultural values;

• continue work on introduction in activity of the museums of partner projects, including with foreign partners, as means of activization of communications, increases in number of visitors of the museums which are promoting strengthening of image of the museum and carrying out educational and educational tasks.

5. Organizers of conference should:

• publish the collection of materials of conference for practical use of the saved-up experience;

• submit the present recommendations in the interested establishments and the organizations.

Participants of section hope that implementation of the present recommendations is capable to make an important contribution to further development of the theory and practice of domestic museum work. Also they express profound gratitude to the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the organization and carrying out this conference.

The international scientific-practical conference devoted to memory of National leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Alirza ogly Aliyev "Heydar Aliyev. Personality and epoch" took place on May 6, 2014 at 3.00 pm.

The conference was organized by Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with Embassy of Azerbaijan Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan, government agencies, scientific community took part in international scientific-practical conference "Heydar Aliyev. Personality and epoch".

"Independence, ensuring integrity and the sovereignty of the state are connected with name of the National leader of Azerbaijan and it is written with gold letters to the contemporary history of Azerbaijan and all former Soviet Union", – the moderator of conference, the director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alma Sagyngali noted.

It is known that N. A. Nazarbayev and G. A. Aliyev were good friends. The history of diplomatic relations between our republics totals more than 20 years. Present level of the relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan is a result of ten years of joint activity of two leaders.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Zakir Arif oglu Gashimov noted in his speech Heydar Aliyev's role in establishing and strengthening the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan. "Being an outstanding socio-political personality, statesman and leader of his people, Heydar Aliyev, during his life became living legend," – Z.A. Gashimov.

K.M. Kazkenov, Ph.D., professor, academician, director of the Centre of the analysis, forecast, social initiatives of "Nur Otan", president of the International coalition "CivicPeace" told in his speech about historico-philosophical comprehension of fate of Heydar Aliyev, his role not only for the Azerbaijani people, but also the Turkic world and the world community.

Grateful human memory is a basis of continuity of generations and preservation of traditions and history of any people. V. K. Salakhov, the doctor of historical sciences, professor, the chairman of "Union of the Azerbaijani Cultural Centres of Kazakhstan" in his speech stopped on personal qualities of National leader of the Azerbaijani people: "Height of which Heydar Aliyev's name reached in political, private life and in the human plan has to be an eternal example for generation of Azerbaijanians who follow him".

Summing up the results, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Z.A. Gashimov thanked the Museum administration for high level of organization of this action and emphasized importance of carrying out conference at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
