26.11.2012 In Akorda N. A. Nazarbayev took letters of credence from newly appointed ambassadors of foreign countries in RK. The letters of credence to the President of Kazakhstan were handed over by the ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway – Ole Yohan Bernoy, Arab Republic of Egypt – Nabila Ibrahim Salama Farhana, the Republic of Uzbekistan – Alisher Salakhitdinov, the States of Israel – Eliyahu Tasman, the Republics of Indonesia – Foster Gultom, the Republic of Serbia – Vladimir Mirkovic.

On November 5, 2012 to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev for formation of EurAsEC and the Customs Union in the nomination «State policy» was handed over the award «Person of Year-2012» by the decision of Council of experts of the Russian Biographic Institute
 On October 12, 2012 the President of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev within official visit to the Republic of Turkey held the meeting with leading representatives of the business community of Turkey
On October 22, 2012 within official visit to the Republic of Austria, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev met the President of Austria Heinz Fischer. During the meeting were discussed the prospects of strengthening of political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between two countries
On October 10, 2012 the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev held the meeting with the President of the Socialist Republic Vietnam Truong Tan Sang arrived to Kazakhstan with the state visit. During the meeting, they discussed questions of political interaction, and also activization of contacts in trade-economic, industrial-innovative, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
 On June 6, 2012 within the limits of the official visit to China the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met the vice-president of the People’s Republic of China Si Jinping, and also with the chairman of Board of directors of «CNPC» company Jiang Zemin. During the meeting are marked the high rates of development of the bilateral relations.

 On May 23, 2012 the Head of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev met the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Recep Erdogan who had arrived to Kazakhstan with the official visit. During the meeting were discussed the questions of the bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

On May 22, 2012 within meeting of Council of foreign investors, the Head of state N.A. Nazarbayev met the chairman of the board of JSC “Sberbank of Russia” Herman Gref. During the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan and the head of the Russian bank discussed the prospects of further cooperation.
 On April 17-18, 2012 the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev was in Malaysia with the state visit. During visit the Head of the state carried out a number of meetings with the top leadership of Malaysia, and also visited the exhibition of leading enterprises of the country.
