On November 19-th, 2008 through educational programs «Political Initiative of N.A. Nazarbayev in the formation and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan» was a museum lesson «Ukraine and Kazakhstan - the trajectory of independence» with the participation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Republic of Kazakhstan N.F. Selivon and third Secretary of Embassy A.N. Nikonchuk.
The museum lesson, dedicated to the Year of Ukraine in Kazakhstan, was jointly organized by the museum, J. Zhabaev school- gymnasium № 4, Ukrainian school № 47 and school-lyceum № 53.

Schoolchildren, members of the Council of educators at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Department of Education of Astana, teachers and parents of schoolchildren were invited to the lesson.
By the event was timed a special exhibition from the museum fund, which presents a variety of museum exhibits - historical documents, archival materials, things of material and spiritual culture, letters and telegrams, gifts from Ukraine delegations given to the Head of the State in different years.

The head of diplomatic mission N.F. Selivon described the cooperation between two countries in cultural and humanitarian sphere, the work of Ukrainian national cultural centers and schools in Kazakhstan.

An enormous interest aroused among schoolchildren a story of Nicholai Fedosovich about years of study of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dneprodzerzhinsk. When Nursultan Nazarbaev was in Ukraine, he showed incredible hard work, responsibility, desire for knowledge than earned respect among his peers and teachers.
The guest praised the hospitality and generosity of soul Kazakh people with great warmth. President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbaev takes care of peace and harmony in our common house and it is confirmed by initiation of his policy of good neighbourliness and tolerance. A main purpose of the young generation - is to preserve and enhance this heritage.

«Our nations have close political, economic and cultural relations - said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine. - Will of the presidents of Kazakhstan and Ukraine and two nations – is further development and strengthen of our friendly relations».
Experience shows, that persons of the outstanding historical figures, well-known people cause in pupils of reflection above moral problems, promote development at them high ideals. Meetings allow participants of Educational program of the Museum to get acquainted more close with historical events, enrich knowledge, promote deeper mastering of a material, and the most important, enable dialogue with direct participants of events of the newest history of Kazakhstan that does that does educational process alive and interesting, leaving indelible impression in hearts of listeners.

On March 18, 2008 at 11.00 o'clock museum lesson – meeting “Ел менен ел достасқан ғасыры туды адамның”, devoted to Year of Ukraine in Kazakhstan was conducted for pupils of 10 grades of SSH № 52, grammar school № 47 and lyceum № 11 at the Museum. N.I. Litoshko has been invited to the lesson as the guest of honour, chairman of Public association of the Ukraine Society "Obereg".
In the appearance at the opening of ceremony of Year of Ukraine in Kazakhstan (February, 2008) Nursultan Nazarbayev has noted: "Thinking of day tomorrow's, we are obliged to use our best efforts for the further strengthening communications between our countries and people".
Organizers of a lesson have shown dynamics of growth of partner attitudes between two countries in a historical cut. During a meeting on the theme of lesson various museum exhibits - historical documents, archival materials, subjects of material and spiritual culture, letter and telegram, gifts, presented to the Head of the state by delegations from Ukraine.
Guest of honour, Litoshko N.I., answered questions of pupils and told about years of friendship with the future President of Kazakhstan in Dneprodzerzhinsk, friendship which is more than 50 years. Pupils of the Ukrainian grammar school № 47 acquainted the contemporaries with customs and traditions of Ukrainian people. Children from SSH № 52 pleasantly surprised spectators with deep knowledge of history and life of Ukrainian people. Alternating each other, the Kazakh and Ukrainian languages organically sounded in the building of the former Residence of the Head of the state.
