      The Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with Welfare fund "Baita" and Children's art school of Department of education of Astana within the frameworks of realization of the project "Child and culture" organize museum holidays and competitions for children:
      On May 26, 2006 before the International day of protection of children passed lesson "Ертегілер әлемі" for pupils of a kindergarten "Ақ қайын ", organized together with children's fund "Ақбота" of Astana. The lesson has been constructed on fantastic plots and legends that helped children to learn about cultural traditions and customs of Kazakh people. Interactive tasks, verses, songs entered kids into their habitual world - the world of game. The holiday has ended with a symbolical ceremony "Believe in your dream”.
      On June 1, 2006, city competition of paintings on asphalt "I love the world", devoted to the International day of protection of children was held.
      On July 2, 2006 on the threshold of the Day of city the lesson "Happy birthday, Astana!" was held for pupils of a kindergarten "Fairy tale". Together with organizers of holiday children dramatized an ancient legend about Bayterek and jokes, and danced. The culmination of a holiday became a celebratory pie with candles.
      On August 29, 2006 the charitable action "We go to school!" was arranged, which organized in honour of Day of knowledge for 35 first-graders - children with the limited opportunities. Organizers of the action - the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Welfare fund “Kamkor” and public association “Society of children-invalids of Astana". Children's holidays for special children in the Museum became good tradition. Social programs of a similar sort are a parameter of understanding and support by a society of children of this category.
      Organizers developed cognitive-entertaining program. To congratulate children on Day of knowledge came favourite fantastic characters, children's choreographic ensembles, clowns and, certainly, the Alphabet. Kind wizards from fund "Kamkor" prepared gifts: each first-grader received the first educational accessories from their caring hands.
      In December, 2006 republican competition of literary creativity and painting "Tugan zherim - 2006 " was held.
