2014
On November 21, 2014 traditional meeting of Council of the teachers took place at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Members of council of teachers, representatives of Astana Department of education, and also teachers of history of capital schools took part in work of meeting.
The following questions were discussed on the agenda:
1. Summing up joint action of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Astana Department of education in 2014.
2. Discussion the plan of joint action of the Centre of museum pedagogics MFP RK and educational institutions of the capital in 2015.
In her speech Kaipova B. M. the chairman of Council of the teachers at the MFP RK, the deputy director of the Museum, the candidate of historical sciences, informed the participants about the activities carried out in the Museum and congratulated with the upcoming holidays: the Day of the First President, the Independence Day. As part of the educational program in 2014 were conducted the museum lessons, master classes, elective courses “Astana studying”, “Elbasytanu”, training course “Basics of museum pedagogics”, debate tournament, children parties. In accordance with the Schedule of lectures of Centre of museum pedagogics the lectures were held on three projects: “Political initiatives of N.A. Nazarbayev in the formation and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “History and culture”, “Child and culture”.
On August 25, 2014 at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held an international scientific-practical conference “Museum in modern society. Searches of new ways of development”. The conference was devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Museum and was aimed at strengthening communication between museums and scientific centres, uniting academic and museum community.
The participants of the section “Role of museums in formation of the historical consciousness of the younger generation” stressed the increasing role and place of museums in the conditions of globalization, as cultural - educational, scientific - educational centres in the preservation of historical heritage, the development of spiritual culture, education of patriotism and citizenship.

As part of the conference program for the participants of the section “Role of museums in formation of the historical consciousness of the younger generation” was held a master class “Innovative forms of work in the educational activities of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
In September 2014 at the Museum thanks to the sponsorship of the Social Association Youth wing “Zhas Otan” of “Nur Otan” party of Astana city and the Football Federation of Kazakhstan was held action “Let’s gift happiness to children!” for children with social needs at the SO “Society of disabled children of Astana” and the Social foundation “Balam-ay”.
Also within the limits of the international exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana the Museum together with JSC “NC Astana EXPO-2017”, Department of education of Astana developed a methodical textbook "Future begins today: EXPO-2017 Astana". In October 2014 took place the press conference devoted to the presentation of this textbook.
There were held seven lessons during the work of the experimental platform for certification of teachers of history of the city of Astana. According to specialists, the lessons of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan contribute to the growth of professionalism of teachers, the development of their creativity, and serve to strengthen mutual cooperation in the field of innovation-oriented methods of teaching the basics of social sciences, best practices, expand the scope of evidence-based promotion achievements of independent Kazakhstan and the historical role of its First President.
As a result of productive partnership activities of the Museum and Astana Department of education was realized the Project of interscholastic intermuseum regatta.
The employees of the Centre of the museum pedagogics take part and provide the methodological assistance in the events of municipal and republican levels. Including certification and competitive commissions, taking part in the international competition “Let me introduce my Kazakhstan!”, the city competition “The best teacher of history”, the city intellectual competition “Gasyrdan gasyrga” as members of the jury.
Summing up the year there were held 79 events, the number of the participants of the Educational program in 2014 were 2866 people.
The methodists of Astana Department of education Amirgalieva D.K., Adinaeva K.K. expressed gratitude to the administration of the Museum, emphasizing the necessity of further cooperation.
The teacher of history of school-gymnasium No. 65 Baitasheva P.K. thanked for the participation in presentation of the methodical textbook "Future begins today: EXPO-2017 Astana". As she noticed this textbook would help teachers to tell the pupils about EXPO-2017 in Astana in easy and exciting form.
The coordinator of the partnership project between interscholastic museums regatta from the Department of education Makanova T.V. in her speech emphasized, “The regatta reached massive character. On the outcome of “sailing on an uncharted island” will be given a report of the crews in 16 schools. Thanks to the project, crews-participators had a unique opportunity to visit the school museums of Astana, visit “ALZHIR”, and above all – they felt the excitement of intellectual contest at your “Archipelago”. The game involved the school administrations, and the parents”.
On the second question the head of the Centre of museum pedagogics Kazbekova R.U. made a speech. She acquainted with the work plan of the Centre in 2015 and noted that in 2015 in honor of the 20th anniversary of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the 20th anniversary of the Constitution, the 550th anniversary the Kazakh Khanate and the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory would be many events, devoted to these important dates.
There was adopted the corresponding decision following the results of the meeting.

3. Discussing plan for the 2nd half-year of 2014.
4. About carrying out the "round" table devoted to Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Summing up the results of collaboration of the Museum and Department of education of Astana for the 1st half-year of 2014 B. M Kaipova, chairman of Council of teachers at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputy director of the Museum, candidate of historical sciences, said: "Within the Educational program 46 events were held, which 1242 persons were visited. Museum lessons, master classes, lessons excursions, a city seminar "Certification of teachers – a component of increase of skill of teachers", lectures, lessons meetings, city debating tournament" were carried out by initiative of the staff of the Center of museum pedagogy within a half-year.

The moderator told about successful implementation of the Interschool museum project "Big Regatta" initiated by the Museum and created in a creative tandem of the Museum and member of council of teachers, teacher of history of “Kindergarten-school-gymnasium No. 46” T.V Makanova in partnership with colleague on school L.E Litvinova. Thanks to this game, members of crews of 16 capital institutions of education had a unique opportunity to visit 11 school museums of Astana, to know about the native land, life and activity of the well-known people who have made the significant contribution to history of development of Kazakhstan society.
Teacher of primary school-gymnasium No. 4 A.K. Seydakhmetova expressed gratitude to the administration and to the staff of the Museum for possibility of using unique potential of the Museum about history of formation and development of independent Kazakhstan. Noting that each lesson at the Museum imposes special responsibility to the teacher, she told that she will conduct the first lesson for future first graders of school-gymnasium No. 4 "Constitution – support of Independence" on the eve of Knowledge Day.
On the second question senior teacher of the Center of museum pedagogy A.A. Ospanova announced the list of authors of the best museum lessons scenarios recommended for the publication in "The collection of museum lessons//2013-2014 academic year".
In conclusion moderator made short summary of actions within the limits of Educational programme of the Museum, planned for the 2nd half-year: lectures, museum lessons, training courses "Fundamentals of museum pedagogics" and "Astanatanu", elective course "Elbasytanu". B. M Kaipova especially outlined a circle of actions devoted to Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and invited to take part in a "round" table.
Methodist of Department of education D. K Amirgaliyeva in her speech noted qualitative increase in professionalism of participants of experimental ground on certification of history teachers on the basis of the Museum and thanked the staff of the Center of museum pedagogy of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for given methodical help in preparation of museum lessons.
