The exhibition «Historical choice» from the funds of the Private archive of the First President of RK.
The exhibition was dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was celebrated for the first time on December 1, 2012. This day characterizes the most important period of the state identity of the Kazakh people.
At the exposition was presented the unique collection of the materials from the funds of the Private archive of Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, enlighting the history of the first nationwide presidential election of 1991. The most valuable among those materials were manuscripts, notes in the working notebooks, diaries, run-downs of his speeches. The official documents, photo and video materials added the exposition. In the special hall the visitors of the exhibition had chance to see video film about that period.
At the ceremony of opening of exhibition took part the prominent state and public figures of Kazakhstan, the heads of the diplomatic embassies accredited in Astana.

The exhibition «Turkic world»
In the Dome hall was held the exhibition «Turkic world», dedicated to the declared goal of TURKSOY «Astana – cultural capital of Turkic world 2012». It was organized with the support of the Public foundation «Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan».
The partners of the expositional project were «Nazarbayev centre», Kyzylorda and West-Kazakhstan regional folk museums, Centre of history and archeology of West Kazakhstan, Otyrar state archeological museum-reserve and the famous scientist-turkologists. A scientific consultant of the project was a main research officer of «Nazarbayev centre», doctor of historical sciences, Professor Dossymbaeva Aiman Medeubaevna.
The unique documental and archeological materials acquainted with the historical-cultural heritage of the Turks. The guests of the exhibition were not indifferent to the art-graphical decision of the exposition and had an opportunity to perceive all variety of the Turkic world and to be deep in immense, mysterious world of Turkic culture.

On the 20th of September, 2012
2012 in Large hall of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was opened the exhibition «Photo-chronicle of Pavlodar’s Irtysh bank», organized within the limits of the project of inter-museum cooperation from the memorial House-museum of D.P. Bagaev (the subsidiary of G.N. Potanin Pavlodar regional folk museum).
D.P. Bagayev – was the photographer, whose active social position and enthusiasm of the researcher promoted creation of the semicentenial chronicle of Pavlodar region. The exposition presents unique photos and rare exhibits telling about history and ethnography of the Kazakhs at the beginning of the XX century. The heroes of the photos are simple people, their everyday life. «The photo – is not a vain amusement, - wrote the photographer in one of his articles, - the photo is a science, art, and evidence of time».

The exhibition “Boris Yeltsin and his time”
The exhibition “Boris Yeltsin and his time” was organized by the Museum of the First President of RK and Presidential Centre of B.N. Yeltsin (Russian Federation) with assistance of the social fund «The Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation».
The exhibition was held in the year of the 20th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. It took place in the Dome hall under which arches had been signed the most important documents of interstate cooperation.
The most part of photos belongs to 1990 years which are possible to call “Yeltsin era”. The materials from the funds of the Private archive and the Private library of the President of RK N.A. Nazarbayev added and expanded exposition subject, illustrating complexity of questions and the huge responsibility assigned to the first Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia who were at the beginnings of new policy and independence.

The personal exhibition «Art of nomads» of Krym Altynbekov the member of Kazakhstan Artists Union, academician of Arts Academy of RK, the chevalier of «Kurmet», Culture figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a known Kazakhstan artist-restorer.
The exhibition was organized together with the subsidiary of NDP «Nur Otan» of Astana city within the limits of the actions «Astana – cultural capital of the Turkic world». The exhibition is most indicative in disclosure of depth and staginess of culture of the Turkic people.
At the exhibition were presented the historical and cultural monuments, identical copies of archeological finds, the art reconstructions and whole complexes made by Krym Altynbekov. Among them: «Sarmatian leader», reconstruction of gala harness of saddle-horses of Berel leader, a copy of «Golden man» from the burial mound Issyk, and also the archeological finds found on the territory of Altay and burial mounds Issyk, Araltobe, Berel, Arzhan and Shilikty.
There were also presented the exclusive hand works made of precious metals and opening outlook of ancient nomads. The author of these works is Krym Altynbekov, the skilled jeweler, the expert of ancient history and the mythology. Among them: set of ware of Rython with images of tigergriffin, used at fraternization rituals, the ritual lamps used for lighting of candles during important family events, a ritual cauldron, and also a set of jewelry in Scythian and Sack style.
The personal exhibitions of creative works and reconstructions of the author are exhibited at the various cities of the world: Prague, Karlovy Vary (Czechia), London (England), New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Washington, Berkeley (USA), Moscow (Russia), Almaty, Astana (Kazakhstan), Ghent (Belgium), Vienna (Austria), Istanbul (Turkey) etc. The works of Krym Altynbekov became a part of the complex exhibition devoted to Asian winter games 2011 in Astana.

The personal exhibition «Strings of soul» of the member of Kazakhstan Artists Union, the owner of the president grants, the laureate of the international festival of art «Master class Kazakhstan 2000» Galym Karzhasov
It was organized in the limits of the partner project. At the exposition were presented 45 works of the artist. Galym Karzhasov was born in 1954 in Ulguli village, Irtysh area, Pavlodar region. In 1980 he graduated from Almaty art school after the name of N.V. Gogol.
The works of Galym Karzhasov were exhibited at the exhibitions in the museums of New-York, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Berlin, Amsterdam, Stuttgart and Munich. The personal exhibitions of the artist took place in Pavlodar, Almaty, Karaganda, Omsk and Saint-Petersburg.
For the author manner of the artist is characteristic first of all the ornament. There are human figures, interior, landscapes; they are equivalent in the art relation. The author senses the harmony of paints, thanks to which, it is possible to feel harmony of space and time fully.

The exhibition «Repercussions of the epoch» from the funds of the Private library of N.A. Nazarbayev
For the first time the small part of the unique book fund was presented to the general public. It objectively fixed various stages and separate episodes of the biography of the owner of the collection, his labour and state activity.
The materials of the exhibition acquainted with the original monuments, the collections of the books which are begotten by the concrete historical time and have kept its features and specifics. There were many books with the presentation inscriptions of the known authors. A unique collection of the rare books, which have supplemented the funds of the Private library of N.A. Nazarbayev in the last decade, has a bibliographic, printing and historical value.

Exhibition «On the way of cooperation and mutual understanding» was organized together with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Kazakhstan within the limits of the international project “Dialogue through culture”.
It was devoted to the 20 anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Poland and Kazakhstan. It is the fourth joined project between our Museum and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.
The materials of the exposition narrated about the history of relationships of Kazakhstan and Poland since the end of the XIX century, and also about the present-day level of development of the interstate relations. The photographic materials and the documents given by the Embassy of Poland, acquainted with the destiny of the first Poles in the territory of Kazakhstan.
The unique exhibits from the funds of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, such as: the collection of slides of Konstantin Nikolaevich dе Lazari and the works of the graphic art of Bronislaw Zaleski, the gifts and the books from the heads of Poland, became the peculiar illustration of the documentary complex from the funds of the Private archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty).

The exhibition of the pupils of M. Utemisov Palace of schoolchildren and the special correctional boarding school was held within the partner project «Sight from childhood», initiated by the Museum in order to support the creativity of the young masters.
The spouses of the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus, Ukraine, Japan, Czech and the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan were invited for performance of the honorable mission of rewarding of the participants of the exhibition by the special diplomas.
The exhibition was the presentation of the best works of the pupils of M. Utemisov Palace of schoolchildren studio «Fine arts and sculpture», «Ikebana», study groups «Magic needle», «Beads work (Imagination)», «Scrappy sewing», «Kazakh ornament», «Paper imaginations», «Soft toy». The real masterpieces of young masters are offered to the attention of the guests.
Through the prism of creativity of one schoolgirls of the special correctional boarding school Kozlova Tatiana were shown the skills which are got by children during training, there are shown a brilliant ability and the authors vision of art.
At the ceremony of opening of the exhibition performed the schoolgirl of studio of the variety vocal «Zvezdnyi chas» A. Manarbaeva with the song «Astana».

the personal exhibition of the artist Anara Abzhanova «World of dream», organized in the limits of the project «Wings of hope» for support creative young people.
The exhibition was organized with the assistance of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Art Academy. In two halls of the museum were presented 50 works of the artists.
Anara Abzhanova is a student of T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Art Academy. In her 26 years Anara Abzhanova has painted more than thousand pictures, she has her own unique art handwriting. A favourite genre of the young artist is the landscape. Since 2001 she is the participant of the republican and international exhibitions, the winner and the diploma-winner of the international festivals and competitions.
The exposition gave the guests of the exhibition a spring mood. The landscapes made in unique skill did not leave indifferent the most perfectionist guests, who were sure that the simple world under the brush of the artist turns to the magic world of paints, the world of dream.

The personal exhibition “Alone with the native land” of the member of Kazakhstan Artists Union Ermahan Begenov.
There were presented more than 40 works of the artist, created throughout last 20 years.
The pictures are devoted to the most picturesque places of Kazakhstan which have become the recognized international brand, but under an unusual point of view. Nobody denies the positive effect of the nature, but not every artist can show it with his brush. The wonderful symbolic of color and lines of E. Begenov, creating certain mood, allows to feel quite both force and beauty of the nature.

The exhibition «Tugan zherim» was devoted to celebrating of the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The initiators of the exhibition were: the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Children Art school - club UNESCO of Astana. There were presented the works of the children who had taken part in the republican competition «Zhas sheber». The exposition of the exhibition consisted of more than two-hundred works of arts and crafts, made by the pupils of art schools of Astana, Pavlodar, Uralsk, Karaganda, Petropavlovsk, Kokshetau, Aktobe, Taldykorgan, Shimkent, Taraz, Aksu, Shahtinsk, Stepnogorsk, Satpaev and Rudnyi. The authors of the works were children who were 11 - 16 years old.
The diplomas and memorable gifts were handed over young masters – participants of the exhibition.

The exhibition «Chronicle of Independence» was organized jointly with the People’s Democratic Party «Nur Otan» and the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exposition was in the Dome hall, where on the 10th of December, 1997 N.A. Nazarbayev had announced a new capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition included the following thematic sections: «Kazakhstan has its own way and future!», «Symbols of Independence», «National idea», «Strong economy – strong state», «Party-political system», «Kazakhstan – is presidential republic», «Providing of social stability and security of citizens», «Initiatives of peace and harmony», «Genius of creation and success». There were used the new exposition decisions, allowed to combine various kinds of sources: newspapers, manuscripts, official documents, photo and video materials of the basic sections of the exhibition.
Each section stage by stage opened the basic landmarks of gaining, formation and strengthening of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also the achievements of Kazakhstan on the world scene by means of unique historical documents, archival photo and video materials, newspaper publications and exhibits from library and archival storages of the Museum of the First President and Archive of the President of RK. All it allowed to form an objective view on the events of recent last and modern Kazakhstan, and also opened the historical role of N.A. Nazarbayev in the creation of the independent state – the Republic of Kazakhstan.
