“Reverence to the ruler – respect for the country” (March 14 – April 14, 2008)
On March 14, 2008, the exhibition “Reverence to the ruler – respect for the country” from the fund of Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was opened in the museum of historical and regional studies in Akmola district.
A lot of eminent guests – inhabitants of Kokshetau came to the solemn opening of the exhibition, deputy chief of district administration for culture B. Kakenov, and professor of the department of the history of Kokshetau state university in the name of Sh. Ualikhanov K. Abuyev and deputy chairman of the city council of veterans V. Solomina came out with the opening speech.
More than hundred exhibits, demonstrated on the exhibition, they present the culture of 25 countries of the world. The gifts, presented to Head of the state during the business meetings and the official visits abroad in the sign of recognition of the international authority of our country and its leader, compose major part of the fund collection.
Silver articles became the real adornment of exhibition: collection of dishes from the President of Turkish Republic S. Demirel and written collection of traveller "Divit" - gift of the Prime Minister of Turkish Republic R.T. Erdogan. The articles of master- gunsmiths presented the duel collection of the beginning ХІХ of century - gift from the inhabitants of Kazakhstan, panel "Dagger in scabbard" from the minister of upbringing, enlightening and higher education of state Qatar Mohammed Abdul Rakhima Kafuda.
Documents and photographs from the personal archive of Head of the state tell about the significant events of his school, student life, state activity, they all make clearly biography of N.A. Nazarbayev.

Exhibition “Honor to the ruler – respect to the people”
On May 16, 2008 exhibition “Honor to the ruler – respect to the people” was opened in the historical museum of regional studies of the North Kazakhstan district from the funds of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana).
Exhibition was opened by deputy akim of North Kazakhstan district E.E. Nurakayev, deputy director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan К.К. Aktayeva, director of the historical museum of regional studies of NKD I.M. Palamarchuk.
Chief of regional administration for the culture R.T. Biekenov, directors of museums and cultural institutions of Petropavlovsk attended solemn opening.
Exhibits presented on the exhibition show the culture of 28 nations of the world. General part of the fund collection compose works of decorative-applied art, painting and sculpture, presented to the Head of state in sign of the international authority of our country and its leader during officials visits abroad and business meetings.
Main goal of such kind of exhibition – each kazakhstani be proud of his country, its achievements on the international arena. Heads of the foreign states and governments, international organizations and foundations, head world companies, labor collective bodies, public workers and many others in sign of respect and honor had sent or handed over gifts to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Hard work and professionalism of well known jewelers, lapidaries, artists, folk craftsmen and masters of CIS, Europe, Asia, China, America reflected in the works of the collection.
Documents and photographs from the private archive of the Head of the state, which presented on the exhibition tell about significant events of his school years, student life, state activity and make a revision of biography of N.A. Nazarbayev.
Exhibition will be worked during a month from May 16 to June 16, 2008.
On October 3-d, 2008 in the South Kazakhstan Regional history museum was opened an exhibition «Elin suigen, eli suigen Elbasi» with the assistance of the regional branch of NDP «Nur Otan».
The exhibition was opened by akim of South Kazakhstan region N.S.Ashimov, deputy director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K.Aktaeva and Chairman of the Council of Veterans U.S.Suleimenov.
At the solemn opening ceremony were veterans of World War the II-nd, the representatives of «Nur Otan» party, heads of local governments, public members.
The main purpose of such exhibitions – is to show the critical stage of the sovereign Kazakhstan and describe the life and work of the First President of our country.
There were gifts presented to the Head of the State during business meetings and negotiations, official visits in recognition of the international credibility of the country and it’s Leader. 175 exhibits reflect the characteristics of material and spiritual culture of 32 countries of the world.
Decorations of the exhibition were silverware: a set of glasses from the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev, dishes from the Royal Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindorn. Unique products of weapon-masters – cold steel, manufactured in Kubachi (Dagestan), duel pistols of the beginning of the nineteenth century, panels «Dagger in scabbards» from the Minister of Higher Education of Qatar State M.Abdul Rahim Kafuda.
A part of the exhibition was devoted to the summer Olympics in Beijing. Visitors could see the unique exhibits: the model of the National stadium («Nest of bird»), it is a new symbolic construction in Beijing, where was the opening and closing ceremony of the Olympics; souvenir «Mouse with the torch in the hands» is a symbol of 2008; stamp of Olympics-2008, etc.
The exhibition will continue until November 3-d, 2008.

On October, 21-24-th, 2008 at the residence of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation was the exhibition «N.A. Nazarbaev is a founder of Kazakhstan model of interethnic and interreligious harmony».
The documents and photographs from the funds of personal archive of the President of Kazakhstan can fully explore the contribution of N.A. Nazarbaev to develop the principles and techniques of development of interethnic and inter-linkages in Kazakhstan society.
The exhibition was timed to coincide with the International Roundtable «Kazakh experience of creating an effective model of ethnic harmony in society». Deputies of the Russian State Duma, scientists of Russia and Kazakhstan, specialists in the field of interethnic relations, diplomats, heads of cultural and national organizations and associations of Moscow took part at the exhibition.

On November 18th – 28th, 2008 in Almaty at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held the exhibition «OSCE - forum of dialogue». It was prepared jointly with the OSCE Center in Astana. Documents and photographs from the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan told about the history and major activities of the OSCE.
Opening of the exhibition was timed to coincide with the beginning of the work of the international scientific and practical conference «OSCE and the challenges of regional security», organized by OSCE Center in Astana, Al-Farabi KazNU, Kazakhstan Institute of Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
There were presented about 80 photographs and documents from the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which tell about the history and basic directions of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
Visitors had the opportunity to see historical photographs of signing on the 1st of August, 1975 in Helsinki, by the heads of 35 states the Final Act (Helsinki Agreement). Collages tell about the structure of the OSCE, its leadership and the states - Parties. According to photographs can be seen varied activities of the OSCE to preserve security in the world, in particular, control of non-proliferation, human rights, environmental security, and development of democratic institutions.
