Cycle of fund exhibitions «We meet future energy!»

On May 30, 2017 at 5.00 pm. in the building of the museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation will take place opening of the cycle of the thematic fund exhibitions «We meet future energy!», dedicated to the international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017.

The fund exhibitions are organized in the limits of the museology program «Museum collection» to show the fine examples of the Kazakh culture in the context of world historical and cultural heritage. The collections are valuable, because they are results of multidimensional activity of the First President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev realizing the concept of modern statehood on the basis of constructive cooperation with the world community.

It is a major event. The guests of the museum will get acquainted with the fund exhibitions placed on three floors:

At the exhibition «Masterpieces of the Great steppe» (1 floor. Hall of Press hall) will be presented the works of arts and crafts and art creativity of Kazakhstan masters, and also the objects from other museum collections, which have the reflection of the spiritual and esthetic heritage of the Great steppe nomad’s civilization. In particular, at the exhibition will be presented such integral symbols of traditional culture as the Kazakh jewellery made of silver, souvenir compositions, household items and horse equipment made of leather and felt. The art works of recognized domestic masters of the fine arts have a specific place among the exhibits.

Silver has a specific place in culture of many people, thanks to beauty, «magic» properties and functionality. The collection of the diplomatic gifts made of silver is various according to the contents and illustrates multivector foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. They were handed to N. A. Nazarbayev at different times. The silver works will be presented at the exhibition «Everlasting shine of silver» (2 floor). They reflect the origin of the works, various techniques, shape of the works, allow understanding and studying more deeply the traditional ways of decor of different people of the world.

For the first time the exhibition «Musical instruments of people of the world» (3 floor) will present to a wide audience the collection of musical instruments of different countries and periods. The musical instruments furnish the clue to outlook of various cultures and civilization types. Kobyz and dombra are traditional musical instruments of the Kazakh people. They have many meanings, cultural "codes" of spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people.

     «Olympic Movement» exhibition is on the 4th floor in the Dome hall. It is a unique exhibition, showing the sport achievements of independent Kazakhstan on the basis of personal funds of Olympic champions, archive and heads of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The museum of the Library of Leader of the Nation shows the citizens and guests of the capital of EXPO 2017 all variety and richness of the funds.

On April 3, 2017 at 5.00 pm. in the building of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (11, Beibitshilik str.) will take place opening of «Petrykivka painting – intangible cultural heritage of humanity» personal exhibition and master-class of Nazarenko Galina Alekseevna the Ukrainian artist, the member of the National union of artists of the Ukraine, the member of the Association of modern art of Moriston (2013, France). The exhibition is organized within the limits of the international project of the museum «Dialogue through culture» in association with the Embassy of the Ukraine in Kazakhstan.

On December 5, 2013 Petrykivka painting was included in UNESCO’s Representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

          Petrykivka painting was established on the pure white wall of the Ukrainian mud hut, and also on the colour national furniture and musical instruments. A vitellus was added in sap of plants, and using these natural paints the hostess painted the houses inside, and sometimes outside. The drawings didn’t decorate the house for a long time. Once a year on the eve of the great holiday all wall paintings were washed away and there were a new one. Man wants to renew world around him. Any woman could paint an interior of the house, and everyone wanted to make it better, than a neighbor. They showed the world their taste, temperament, spirituality.

A figurative perception of the native nature, love to the Ukrainian land is the cornerstone of Petrykivka art. The classical elements of Petrykivka painting are the plants surrounding the artist which image, by the way, isn't used in one of the existing types of the painting. Ornamental motives where prevail bright, saturated tone, draw attention not only with colour, but also surprising integrity of the creative idea. And the simplicity of the drawing seeming at first sight actually hides long and laborious work of the artist who filigree represented the smallest details of a picture. Obviously, in such way a miracle is born and it is fated the perception not by eyes, but by soul and heart. The main motives of a painting are wild flowers, branches of snowball tree, mallow, peonies, asters.

At the beginning of the 19th century the Petrykivtsy liked that painting and it was used to decorate the house utensils – house wares, chests, carts. The whole families drew and offered their works at the market, because such type of painting had requirement. At that time Petrykivka was a large trade centre, and the works of rural artists were popular in other regions of the Ukraine.

In the late 50s the Petrykivka painting was established as art trade. At that time at art and trade team «Vilna selyanka» (later «Druzhba» factory) which was specialized in making the products with the embroidery, the workshop on production of souvenirs was organized. After the statement of a certain sample the national trade was duplicated without limitations.

In 1991 was established a centre of folk art “Petrykivka” which became the Ukraine's first enterprise which was in property of the national handymen.

The author of the works is Galina Nazarenko. She was born on November 18, 1968 in the village of Petrykivka of the Dnipropetrovsk oblast. She graduated from Petrykivka children art school named after T. Ya. Pati and the Mirgorod ceramic technical school. Nowadays Galina Alekseevna is one of the most known Petrykivka modern skilled workers. She participated in many exhibitions, including more than 30 personal, in many countries of the world - Ukraine, France, Bulgaria, the USA, Canada, China, Georgia, Belarus, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, China, Turkmenistan, Spain, Greece, the Netherlands, and also she participated in design of interiors of three temples: St. Yury (Kiev, 2011), Pokrova church of the village of Shevchenkovo (Kiev oblast, 2014), St. Trapeza (2015) and the Ukrainian cultural centre in Paris (France, 2012).

More than 50 works of the author are presented at the exhibition. Every work shows originality and continuity of the best traditions of legendary masters of the senior generation. The works of Galina Nazarenko are beauty of the native land, feeling of a holiday.

On March 29, 2017 at 5.00 pm. in the building of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (11, Beibitshilik str.) will take place opening of «Fortunes in pictures» exhibition dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the Atyrau regional museum of art and decorative-applied arts named after Sh. Sariev. The exhibition is organized within the limits of «National property» inter-museum project of the Library.  

In 2008 the museums of the Atyrau region gave the start to the large-scale project (in that time it was the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan) «Kazakhstan directed to the future». In 2011 the exhibition from the funds of the Museum of the First President was presented in Atyrau. In this anniversary year for the Atyrau colleagues, in Astana will take place the uncommon event which has become the result of fruitful partnership. 

The works of the artists and craftsmen of the Atyrau region will be presented at the exhibition: Shaymardan Sariev, Kambarbek Amanov, Zholaman Aralbayev, Raphael Slekenov, Issim Arystanov, Nursultan Kaliyev and others. The pictorial works of the exhibition are the pictures made in three most popular and famous genres: portrait, landscape and still life. Every work is unique and reflects creative identity of authors who are united by one general aspiration – love and interest in disclosure of secrets and beauty of natural and objective world.

In the works of Kambarbek Amanov, Kabdola Dosniyazov is presented the harmonious picture of the nature with the individual author's style and an emotional background. The landscapes appear as something complete, without separately existing –sky, water and earth. All components of composition are integrated together and show the mood to all parts of a landscape. Shaymardan Sariev’s portraits with characteristic yellow-brown colour are very individual and unique.

Besides pictorial works there will be presented decorative-applied arts. They are made of wood and leather by the famous masters Nursultan Kaliyev and Kenes Aiypkaliyev. In the works of the masters are brightly shown the national colour and aspiration to show the historical images by means of art expressions.

In general, the exhibition represents the complex of works of modern artists and craftsmen of the Atyrau region. All authors of the works are difficult and extraordinary creative persons, with their own author's style.

On March 16, 2017 at 5.00 pm. in the building of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (11, Beibitshilik str.) will take place opening of «Art Sapar I/Astana» exhibition and the series of master classes of the fine arts and sculpture which will finish the first part of the movable exhibition project of young artists «Art Sapar of Kazak Eli».

The movable exhibition project «Art Sapar of Kazak Eli» was initiated by the group of young talented artists – the graduates of T. Zhurgenov Kazakh national academy of arts in 2013. Their leader is the artist Anar Aubakir. Pavlodar was the first city where «Art Sapar» exhibition took place and from that city the travel through the country was started. In the next years the exhibition visited Semey, Aktobe, Atyrau, Kostanay, Karaganda, Temirtau, Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Aktau.

The collections of pictures, sculptures and works of applied art were accompanied with new works in every city where the exhibition took place. Thus, the project not only made the trip through the cities, but also was changed, reflecting creative life and progress of the authors. Among the authors of the project the painting and graphics are represented by: Anar Aubakir, Galiya Toremuratova, Almas Nurgozhayev, Ali Zakir, Kadyr Maksutkan, Moldir Sagyndykova; sculpture: Talgat Zhumagulov, Bagdat Sarsenbiyev, Zhanna Nugerbek, Daniyar Sarbasov; arts and crafts: Natalia Bazhenova, Bauyrzhan Doszhanov, Gulmaral Tatibayeva. Every author has the own vision of the world which is expressed individually, however all young creators are united by active living position, aspiration to creation of fine. Many of them derive inspiration from cultural sources of Kazakhstan’s history which is rich with traditions and art images.

The idea to finish the first part of «Art Sapar of Kazak Eli» project in the museum of Library of the First President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation was not initiated accidentally. Since 2008 the museum has been realizing «Wings of hope» project to support creative youth successfully. Thanks to the project many young talents managed to be famous. So, in 2015 and 2016, the personal exhibitions of the artist Anar Aubakir and the sculptor Zhanna Nugerbek took place. «Art Sapar I/Astana» exhibition is a logical continuation of «Wings of hope» project. It is very symbolical that works of young talented artists will be presented in the first warm days of spring on the eve of Nauryz.

It is dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the National Olympic committee

On March 2, 2017 at 5.00 pm. in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (building of Museum) will take place solemn opening of the exhibition «Olympic movement» and the ceremony of cancellation of postage stamps, dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the National Olympic committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. «Olympic movement» exhibition is organized within the partner project of the Library and opens a series of the events devoted to the 25^th anniversary of NOC of RK.

  Sport and sports achievements are integral part of the world civilization and culture.  Sports development in the Republic of Kazakhstan – is one of the most important directions of the state policy. The professional sport has promptly begun to develop after gaining independence. In 1992 our country was admitted as the 192 member of the International Olympic Committee and since that time became the independent subject of the Olympic movement, participating in competitions under own flag and with own anthem. The special merit in sports achievements of Kazakhstan athletes belongs to the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan.

 For the first time at «Olympic movement» exhibition will be presented a large collection of sports trophies of Kazakhstan champions, things and archival materials from the personal collections of the Presidents of the National Olympic Committee. They show the history of sports achievements of Kazakhstan in 25 years. The chronology of significant sports victories will be presented consistently, through unique objects which were carefully collected and saved by all presidents of NOC of RK: A. S. Akpayev (1992-2002), T. K. Dosymbetov (2002-2006), T. M. Dosmukhambetov (2006-2015), T.A.Kulibayev (since 2015).

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition will take part such famous athletes of our country as Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, Guzel Manyurova, Vassiliy Levit, etc. The materials of the exhibition will let not only to get acquainted in detail with the history of famous victories of Kazakhstan athletes in the sports Olympus, but also to be inspired to the new achievements.

On February 17, 2017 at 5.00 pm. in the building of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (11, Beibitshilik str.) will take place opening of new exposition «Astana is a symbol of unity and independence of Kazakhstan», dedicated to the 20th anniversary of moving the capital from Almaty to Astana. A specific point is that the exposition will be placed in «Golden» hall of the first residence of the President in Astana. In 1998 in this hall Kisho Kurokawa the winner of the international opened competition of the design-idea of Astana construction presented his project. The general layout of the city was also approved in this hall.    

         The exposition «Astana is a symbol of unity and independence of Kazakhstan» is a result of a complex research of formation and development history of the capital on the basis of the materials analysis of the museum collection, gathering work of the employees. The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation has necessary source study base: museum collections include the things reflecting events and processes of the independence period, their participant and initiator was directly N. A. Nazarbayev; the archive contains the unique documents reflecting political will of the Head of state.

It is possible to separate photo and traditional documents among documentary sources – the speeches of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev at the celebrations devoted to the presentation of Astana and Day of the capital, at the presentation and opening of objects of the new capital, at the meetings on development and construction of Astana, the notebooks with working records to the meetings on questions of moving of the capital, the interviews to mass media, the shorthand reports of press conferences. Very interesting are the congratulatory addresses from the heads of the foreign states on the occasion of the presentation of the new capital of Kazakhstan – Astana, etc. In the museum collection are stored the sketches of important objects of Astana made by N. A. Nazarbayev; the public awards testifying to the President's contribution to formation of the new capital; the souvenir compositions narrating about growth rates of Astana.

The new exposition consists of four thematic sections: «Moving of the capital of Kazakhstan from Almaty to Akmola is an important component of system reforms for modernization of Kazakhstan»; «N. A. Nazarbayev's role in formation and development of Astana»; «Social and economic development of Astana»; «International image of the capital of Kazakhstan». The basic exposition is preceded by information selection about the previous capitals of Kazakhstan. A visitor can get acquainted with unique archival materials and exhibits, and he has an opportunity to get acquainted consistently with an eventful, amazing history of Astana for last 20 years.

The strategic initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev about moving of the capital from Almaty to Akmola became fatal in the contemporary history of the republic. There was made a great work during the short historical period: the capital became a large political, economic, cultural and scientific center of the republic. Astana became pride of new Kazakhstan, a symbol of the statement of the national idea and unification of the country, a symbol of the state success and political will of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev.

The capital of Kazakhstan has a firm place on the political map of the world. The international value of Astana has risen considerably. Already now Astana is called the place of meetings of leaders of world and traditional religions, the place of generation of initiatives of political interaction in the solution of the global problems of the present, facing mankind, the ground of architectural and town-planning innovations of the 21st century. On February 3, 2017, at 5.00 p.m. in the building of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (11, Beybitshilik str.) will take place opening the anniversary personal exhibition «Native Land» of Marat Tuksaitov, a painter, member of the Union of artists of Kazakhstan, honored worker of Kazakhstan, academician of the Academy of Arts of Kazakhstan.

Tuksaitov Marat Tolegenovich was born on January 4, 1947 in the village of Novo-Troitsk of Karabalyk district of Kostanay region. After graduation the Alma-Ata art college named after N.V. Gogol in 1968, worked in Tselinograd art workshops, taking an active participation in various city, regional, republican exhibitions of art works. Since 1977 is a member of the Union of artists of Kazakhstan. In the period from 2000 to 2004 was chairman of the Union of artists of Astana, at the present time – deputy chairman of the Union of artists of Astana.

Marat Tolegenovich hosted in his profession, that evidenced the numerous cases of recognition of his artistic achievements. The honorary title «Honored worker of Kazakhstan» was awarded M.T. Tuksaitov in 2005. In 2006 he became an academician of the Academy of arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A gold badge – the highest award, established by the Union of artists of Kazakhstan was awarded Marat Tuksaitov in 2011. The Order «Kurmet» was awarded the artist in 2015.

Marat Tolegenovich works in the genres of portrait and landscape. A special relationship to the native land, the ability to see beauty in the everyday regularity of rural life felt in the works of the master. The author subtly notices and transmits the details are familiar to anyone who stores in memory warmth of native home. The accuracy in the transfer of images, the mood, the atmosphere of time and place – the main quality of the artist. Especially this ability manifests in landscapes of different seasons, able to «move» of viewer into its space. All artist's paintings are permeated with the special love, understanding and compassion which can be in relation only to the native land. The guests of the exhibition «Native Land» will ensure in that, on which will be presented about 40 paintings of the master.

On January 25, 2017 at 5.00 pm. in the building of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (11, Beibitshilik str.) will take place opening of the personal exhibition «Way to yourself» of the master of decorative-applied art Zhurkabayeva Guldana. The exhibition is organized in the limits of the «Wings of hope» project to support creative youth.

In 2009 in the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan within the regional exhibition project "Kazakhstan directed to the future" was organized “Cradle of national cultures” exhibition from the museum funds of the Kostanay region. The sculptors, artists and masters of decorative-applied art of the Kostanay region presented their works. Among them was also Guldana Zhurkabayeva. Guldana's works were attracted, diversified and many-sided. From that time the artist has been making about 150 creative works, she is known in foreign countries.

Guldana Zhurkabaeva was born on January 25, 1979 in the village Zhangeldy, of the Kustanay region. She graduated from the Torgay humanitarian college, then, in 2003, she graduated from the Kostanay humanitarian institute, and had specialty of designer. Guldana is a member of the Union of Artists of Astana, laureate of «Shabyt» premium of Kostanay Patrons Club. Her works participated in many republican and foreign exhibitions. On December 16, 2016 the artist won the first place in the International festival and arts competition which took place in the Republic of San Marino.

At the exhibition «Way to yourself» will be presented more than 40 works made of leather and painted with acrylic colouring. The subjects of Totemizm and Shamanism are close and disturbing for many contemporaries. The artist makes sense of ancient symbols in her own way, and uses them in her works extensively. The works on the leathers and canvases "Scythian motives", "Steppe melody", "Sounds from the past", "Zodiac cycle" and many others are made by the author under impression of ancient drawings of mankind. Besides leather and acryle, the master widely uses various decorative elements. Among them are amber, coins, natural stones, beads, buttons, feathers, bones of animals.

The technique of the first works of the artist belongs to decorative-applied art. Silhouettes and symbols, proportions and plots of the ancient petroglyphs shout to one another with the natural, "wild" material. There are widely used fragments of leathers of various animals. Their raw fur, being a part of the general composition, shows an image of ancient messages.

Guldana Zhurkabayeva is an original artist. She is opening all new sides of her wide and unique talent for many years of her creativity. She is persistent in the achievement of goals, hard-working, honest. In the works of the master are surprising number of associations between past and present.

Opening of the photo exhibition

«Black January» – way to Independence»

 

On January 13, 2017 at 5.00 pm. in the building of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation (11, Beibitshilik str.) will take place opening of the exhibition «Black January» – way to Independence», dedicated to the tragic events of January 20, 1990 in Baku. The exhibition is organized jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the limits of the international project of the museum «Dialogue through culture».

On January 20, 1990 in the capital of Azerbaijan – Baku took place tragic events, involved the death of hundred civilians. Due to the next anniversary of "Black January" the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan presents to public attention the photo illustrations of that January events.

These pictures are testimony of strength of mind of the Azerbaijani people, gained state independence in 1991.

Exhibition «Black January» – way to Independence» will be till January 20, 2017.

It is free of charge.
