Classes within a training course of "Basics of museum pedagogy" took place since October 15 till November 26, 2014. This year the heads of the school museums, teachers of public disciplines of Astana were invited to courses.
Author's course of the head of the Centre of museum pedagogy R. U. Kazbekova consists of 10 classes. Lectures, practical trainings, visits to the museums were included to the programme of this course.
Especial attention on classes was paid to the widespread use of independent, creative works of listeners. In order to enhance the skills of managers of school museums and assistance in all areas of museum activities the basic museological concepts were considered, exchange of experience of work of the museums on studying and preservation of cultural heritage took place.
Within the course the exit city seminar "Formation of the Kazakhstan patriotism by museum means" at school-gymnasium No. 17 named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Akan Kurmanov was held.
Thematic-exposition plan of the school museum of military glory was presented at the seminar. The directions of scientific search and collecting activities of the museum, work of guides-pupils were demonstrated. The role of the school museums in formation of the Kazakhstan patriotism is invaluable.
According to the tradition, at the final session, the participants of the course "Basics of museum pedagogy" prepared the creative works executed following the results of training. Such group works as "Formation of borders of independent Kazakhstan" (B. A. Alizhanova and O. A. Opanasenko), "All family is at the museum!" (T.M. Bakhridenova, K.A. Inerbayeva, A.M. Tnalina), "Travel with a wise bird Samruk" (S. A.Esilbayeva, S.Sh. Mynzhanova, L.Sh. Ospanov) and individual works among which it should be noted the following projects: "A family is at the museum" (L.V. Mirkina, the teacher of history of school-gymnasium No. 22), "Astana – towards to EXPO!" (A.N. Dostanbekova, teacher of history of secondary school No. 25), "Botay culture" (K.Z. Kussainova, the teacher of history of Turan college), "Streets of capital – page history" (L.I. Dokuchayeva, teacher of history of school-lyceum No. 27), etc. were presented for consideration.
According to the jury, interesting ideas have been proposed by the author of the project "School museum is the basis of education of younger generation" (A. M. Zhunisbekov, the teacher of history of secondary school No. 34). Also judges noted works "Museum network community" (the teacher of history of school gymnasium No. 2 G. A. Ayapbergenova) and "Steppe wrestler Bitabar" (A.M. Boridko, teacher of history of school-lyceum No. 35). The listeners were handed certificates after finishing consideration of projects.
The elective course "Basics of museum pedagogy" promotes use of museum space as a part of the educational environment, develops pedagogical competence of the school teacher through practical development of methods of work in the museum.
On September 3, 2014 the action "Let’s present happiness to children!" for children with social requirements of OS "Society of invalid children of Astana" and Public fund "Balam-ai" took place at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Organizers are public association "Zhas Otan" of Astana city, the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Football Federation of Kazakhstan.
For 10 years of existence of the Museum specialized educational and pedagogical work for children with limited opportunities is one of priorities of its activity. The most important aim is integration of "especial" children into social life.
Joint projects of public association "Zhas Otan" and the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan are always distinguished by desire to attract attention of public to social problems.
The social action took place before the qualifying match of the European Championship among youth with participation of the National football team of Kazakhstan headed by the chief coach - Yuri Krasnozhan.
"We want to support you now. We want to see your beautiful children's eyes. Firstly, we wish that all your health problems left. I wish your parents patience and forces. We want to support you and to thank people who don't leave you in difficult moments", – Yury Krasnozhan said, addressing to the audience. The coach invited children to matches of National team. He said that it is a great honour for him to communicate with people who have such resistant character.
In turn, football players of Kazakhstan national team handed to children school sets and souvenirs – balls and scarves. Then children made photos with stars of Kazakhstan football. After communication with children the football players had tour at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On May 28, 2014 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for children with limited possibilities took place art and therapeutic session "Magic world of art".
The organizers were the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of Nation N. A. Nazarbayev, the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PA "Society of disabled children of Astana", Public foundation "Balam-ai", PA "ТАЗА ЖУРЕК – PUREHEART".
The foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of Nation N. A. Nazarbayev in its multidimensional activity pays close attention to support and creative development of children with limited opportunities.
Long-term experience of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with children with limited opportunities was generalized in the social project "Жан жылуын сыйлайық" which was submitted in competition of social projects of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of Nation N.A. Nazarbayev and was awarded with the rank “Winner of the Award of Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of Nation” with diploma and breastplate to authors of the project.
The public association "Society of disabled children of Astana" is an old partner of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its mission is assistance of social adaptation of children with limited possibilities, formation of skills of communication, tolerance and leadership.
The public foundation "Balam-ai" was found for short-term stay of "special" children. There are developed programs for children for the leisure organization, social services are rendered: psychologists, speech pathologists, specialists in correction of movement and development of skills at children with special pathologies.
For the first time PA "ТАЗА ЖУРЕК – PUREHEART" acted as the partner in carrying out art and therapeutic session. Within session the founders of public association presented an exhibition of the exclusive handworks, carried out a master class of bead braiding, show their skills of work with natural stones, beads, taught children to create composition, which were unique on grace and beauty.
The guests had unforgettable minutes of pleasure, they adjoined to creativity of young talents. For children was prepared the gala concert. Pupils of children’s music school No. 2 presented the musical gifts.
Within session the organizers presented to children a unique meeting with Sh. G. Sharipova, the disabled person of the 1st group. Her life is an example of courage, strength of mind and services to society. Sholpan Gabbasovna, without looking at any adversities, holds benefit concerts. A part of means she gives to orphanages. The penetrating song of this courageous woman presented to participants of session pleasure of life, and self-confidence.
Art and therapeutic session "Magic world of art" bore both therapeutic and esthetic character.
During the concert program the children had opportunity to show their works made of beads and natural stones. The children had a special pleasure from fashion show of the dresses made by hands of masters of PA "ТАЗА ЖУРЕК – PUREHEART". The Kazakh national and European dresses made in technique of bead braiding, caused unusual delight of children. Sharing opinions and feelings during art and therapeutic session, they in details told about their feelings, about need for self-expression and desire further to fix the skills received within session "Magic world of art".
The organizers handed over gifts to the participants of art and therapeutic session.
On March 27, 2014 the Open Day with participation of teachers, pupils and parents of Children art school of Astana – UNESCO club was held.

In introductory lecture the head of the Centre of museum pedagogy R. U. Kazbekova noted that this event was annually held by the Museum within the limits of special programme which purpose is family involvement in educational space, and acquainted participants with achievements and prospects of development the State programme "Cultural heritage" of the Republic of Kazakhstan initiated by the First President – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev.
Then thematic excursion "Treasures of sak barrows: Golden man in the exposition of MFP RK", prepared by the senior expert of the centre of organizing of exhibitions and excursion service Sh. B. Kunanbayeva took place. She told about "animal" style – language of culture of early nomads.
During thematic excursion "Subjects of cult of world religions in the collection of the Museum of the First President of RK" the leading expert of the Centre of organizing of exhibitions and excursion service A.S. Karmanova acquainted children with subjects of religious cults presented to N. A. Nazarbayev by heads of the foreign states, heads of the ministries, participants of congresses of leaders of world and traditional religions.

Thematic excursion "Cold steel arms in collection of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was conducted by the leading expert of the Centre of organizing of exhibitions and excursion service A.K. Shotkina and senior expert of the Centre for registration and storage of the museum values S. K. Sagimbayev. They told about armature of Kazakh batyrs, having emphasized tradition of weapon donation. Extraordinary delight of children was caused by interactive part of excursion: performance of ceremony of weapon donation. The children have a rare opportunity to touch with their hands the museum exhibits.

The lesson in Silver hall of the Museum where the highest awards of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – pride of the museum collection are presented became the final stage of the Open Day. During the lesson-excursion "Award to President - gratitude to people" chief expert of Information centre G. K. Kassenova acquainted children with awarding system of foreign states and highest awards which were handed over to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev.
